It's a nice hotel. The rooms are a very good size. The only issue is that the smoke detectors have a flashing light that flashes every few minutes all night long. Other than that, a great stay.

Quaint but a little disappointing.
This hotel was immaculate and quaint and right on the trolley line. We really appreciated having a locked private parking area. However, the breakfast was on par with Motel 6. The Mexican restaurant in the building was excellent for dinner.

Nice weekend stay

Great Hotel that needs some touch ups
We had two bookings. The first night had 2 people staying-we arrived at 9pm and there was no parking on site (we were told when booking there would be parking on site). We had to park a block away in the Hospital Parking Garage. The second night we had 8 people staying in 2 rooms. One of the toilets was clogged and we told the person at the front desk at 6am. Came back after being out all day around 5p and the toilet was still clogged. We called down to the front desk and they sent a cleaning person up and handed us a plunger to fix it ourself. Now for the good: the bed is really comfortable, clean (we found 1 sock under the bed that we threw away - so definitely need to do a better cleaning job), and the room stayed really cold with the AC on. We had fresh towels/wash cloths, and coffee/tea/water bottles in the room every day. The breakfast was mediocre-they had coffee/tea/lemon water. Juice (cranberry and orange juice), milk. Fruit, cereal, granola bars, bread and bagels.

This is a very nice property that is quaint. It is a little dated, but well worth staying at if you're looking for a non-chain hotel! Close to the trolly, with secure parking for your vehicle. Know that the onsite cafe is a is a Mexican restaurant if that is not your thing. The staff is friendly for the most part & is very informative. My wife & I enjoyed our stay at this hotel!
