Wake up calls on all 4 nights did not happen. First room smelled, there was no hair blower, and the tv did not work. Was moved the 3rd day to a much clezner room, tv worked and had a hair blower. Left sweatshirt in prior room and was not able to get access to the room to look for it. Had to leave without it. Lastly, for breakfast, not enough options, small paper plates were only available on last day i was there. Cannot logistically hold food that was available like waffles. Did like the ability to make waffles. Will not come back for trip in October. Will find another hitel option.

Do not stay here
Moving my daughter in to CU Boulder so decided to stay here for the price. Employees were friendly, but this place is old. You can tell it was renovated, but it’s like putting lipstick on a pig. Pool was closed, all green! Snack shop was not stocked at all! Had to shoulder the door to get it open almost every time! The bathroom ceiling looked like it was going to collapse! Would not stay here again!

Tired looking hotel
The pool appeared to be dirty and was never in operation or available. It was one of the reasons for staying. There was a leak in the bathroom ceiling of the room. The room was to be cleaned on the 3rd day and it wasn't. On the 4th day, it still wasn't clean at 3:30pm after I was out all day. I waited in the lobby that wasn't air conditioned and hot while I waited for the room to be cleaned. Things in general have not been taken care of and need attention.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. It's a great location if you are going to visit CU but don't want to pay downtown prices. It is also close to lots of restaurants and stores. The rooms are clean and comfortable but showing signs of wear. The elevator this visit sounded like it was on its last leg lurching and squealing its way up and down. It's time for a tune-up I think. Lots of options for complimentary breakfast with a large seating area and tea and coffee available all day. I did have an issue with my Expedia reservation. I originally had a reservation for Saturday night. We ended up driving straight through and arrived on Friday night. Prior to arrival I made an additional reservation through Expedia for Friday night. Upon arrival, I explained the change of plans and that I had two reservation numbers for my two night stay. The kind man assured me he linked the reservations and no other action would be needed during my stay. At 10:30 PM on the second night the hotel staff calls me and says that I have to come down to the lobby to formally check out and then check back in under the new reservation and resign a new form that I signed the day before and was already on file. Process improvement is needed here.

This hotel stinks
The hotel was run down. I was given the last room at the end of u shaped hallway that was about a ten min walk to get to. I was moving my daughter into college and had multiple bags and boxes. The one valet cart had flat tires. Once I arrived at my room I noticed there was an elevator across from my room and I could have parked right outside my room and come up that elevator, it would have been kind of someone had told me. I told several guests I saw dragging bags down the hallway. In addition, I sent bags to the hotel in advance. When I arrived at the hotel I was told my bags were not there and they would look for them. They were eventually found that evening. I also had a neighbor who was having a party until well past 1am in his room, I had to call downstairs to complain. This continued for the length of my stay. I also heard the a loud noise, like a pipe exploding, about every 20 min. My toilet clogged.

Not a great stay
The pool was out of order but it was never mentioned at check in. There was trash found under and in the night stand next to the bed. Our bathroom has had excessive water damage to the door and floor trim and does not look good. The toilet seat did not fit the oblong toilet and the room above must have a leaking bathroom as there was a giant bubble above our shower head in the ceiling and it was filled with water from a leak.

The property was recently renovated and well-maintained. The breakfast waffles were fun, as always, but they had a little trouble keeping up with the crowd - I had to ask for forks and wait for coffee on separate occasions. No big deal! The rooms were large and comfortable. Very close to the delightful town of Louisville, which is not to be missed if you stay here.
