The home was built fully ADA accessible - 1 level with a large bedroom with queen bed, smart tv and closet. Detached hall bath with full walk in shower is just across the hall. The open floorplan kitchen, dining and living area has high vaulted ceilings, game table, seating for 8 (plus the island), pull out sleeper sofa and another large smart tv.

The other bedroom at the other end of the house is extra large with 2 queen beds, and 4 single twin beds (2 bunk beds), and attached bathroom with a tub/shower combo.

The living area walks out to a nice oversized patio with outdoor dining table, adirondack chairs, a Traeger smoker, corn hole and bocce yard games. The yard is large and open - plenty of unfenced room for your dog(s) and kids to roam!

The property goes to the Yellowstone River and has a private bridge to get over a small irrigation ditch to get to the river. Private access for fishing for you! Check out this aerial video and home tour here: https://youtu.be/kP88AsUTk0U

Yellow Stone Fun
My wife and I had our son and daughter-in-law join us for the week. We spent three days on the river on guided float trips to fly fish. Beautiful experience and caught some nice fish. Two visits to the park were great. The park is awesome and gigantic. The house is located on the river and was very well equipped and comfortable. Much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. Enjoyed Livingston, too.

Yellowstone Crest Lodge was just right for our family gathering. It was large and spacious with great access to the Yellowstone river and breathtaking views. The drive in along the Yellowstone river is also one of a kind. Saw golden and bald eagles which was a real treat.

Yellowstone Crest
Our family absolutely enjoyed our stay at Yellowstone Crest. The views are amazing. Our first couple of days had rain on and off, but there is plenty of room for sitting around and playing games in the open living area. And when the sun came out we sat at the picnic tables, played corn hole and walked to the fishing access site down the road. Kitchen was well stocked as mentioned (only a grinder for our coffee beans was missing). Easy access to the North Entrance to Yellowstone was a great day trip. Very clean throughout with comfortable beds and lots of bedding. We did lose electricity for a few hours (very entertaining thunderstorm) our last night, but there are plenty of flashlights and we had a lovely candlelit dinner. The folks at Key Montana were easy to work with.

Quick visit
After making a last minute decision to visit our son over the holiday weekend we booked this property. Each day we were here we appreciated the details and setting more and more. It turned out to be the perfect place for our stay and we truly appreciated the setting, the property itself, our hosts, and our travels.

GREAT Property.. poor road to get there
This place is absolutely beautiful! Such a nice cabin! Lots of updates and the scenery is breathtaking! Only thing, the road to get there is 3 miles of gravel which needed to be grated and have gravel put down.. not the owners fault.. but it would be nice if that road was not so rough.

Peaceful Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay at the Yellowstone Crest. The house was perfect for us to spend some great family time enjoying the outdoors. The stars and the wilderness did not disappoint. The house was very well stocked and plenty big enough for our family of six (with room to spare). The TV wasn't turned on once and we hardly even picked up our cell phones because we were too busy playing games or exploring. Thanks for letting us stay!

Fantastic getaway
This place is fantastic! It’s close enough to town but is removed from the hustle and bustle. The home was very quaint and we saw deer everyday. Access to the river is very easy and the fishing was good. My dog loved the large back yard to run and play. Star gazing at the house is unlike anything else. We sat on the patio nearly every night and watched the Milky Way drift by punctuated by shooting stars. Thank you for offering this property. We’ll definitely be back in the future.

We had an incredible time at Yellowstone Crest Lodge! This is one of the BEST stocked rentals I've ever been in. The kitchen was well stocked with great knives, pans, and even had tupperware! The home was immaculately clean and had great toiletries, plenty of towels (even a black cloth for makeup), and super comfortable beds. The views are so gorgeous and we had a great time exploring the property and sitting outside on the patio. We used the grill once and it was super easy. The drive to the house, the driveway, and the lawn were well maintained. Fishing access at Sheep Mt is a short 5-7min walk or you can drive there. There IS a path to the river from the back of the house, but since the river is low I wouldn't recommend trying to walk down as it is very steep... just head to Sheep Mt FAS! We were so so so sad to leave and we will def book with KeyMontana again.

Beautiful cabin
Cabin was very clean. We drove up when it was cloudy and were surprised by the view of the mountains in the morning! The property is peaceful and enjoyed walking along the Yellowstone River to a near by park. The kitchen was well stocked and beds were very comfortable. I very much appreciated the hospitality---with the cozy robes, the welcome card and snacks. I will definitely stay again!

What A View!
As pups we had no idea what we were in for. After a looong drive from Seattle, suddenly, with noses out the window, we started to savor the new smells of the Yellowstone River, cows, horses, deer and an eagle family. Then, we arrived at a house with a huge grassy yard and incredible view. We jumped out of the car and immediately entered a cool house with bedrooms on either end with a big, airy living space in between. Lots of room to run around and snooze and nothing we can break or ruin. Whew! My mom could make any meal she wanted with all the provided amenities - pots, pans, great gas oven and stove, coffee maker, you name it! She thought she would barbecue but the Traeger was gooey and out of her league. My Dad had a run-in with the oil can on the barbecue so Mom called Deena for help in cleaning it up. Before we knew it, Owen arrived! He cleaned the oil whoops (my buddy and I tried to help too) and when my Dad pointed out the failing windows in the front of the house Owen was most thankful. Owen was so awesome. He gave my Dad the best tip on how to get to the Gallatin National Forest, a tip we used nearly everyday and made our adventures the best. Two gentlemen arrived a bit later to take window measurements so the view from inside the house will be even more outstanding! Anytime we could get our parents to take us outside we fully immersed ourselves in trying to catch the plethora of grasshoppers, enjoy the view from any angle and walk over the irrigation canal to the Yellowstone River. A tip, bring insect repellent! Once you are out on the river, easy, but in the evenings or on your way to the river, be sure to arm yourself. I now know it is okay to snap at that one pesky bug! Although speaking of pesky insects, Mom and Dad did have an event with a hidden hornets nest under ground near the patio. Wow! They looked funny jumping around but I am glad my buddy and I were not a part of it. Ouch! We had the best time in a clean, well stocked and perfect sized spot for just the 4 of us though another big kid came for a few nights. Bring a hat, a sun patio umbrella (My parents broke the one provided. They forgot to take it down and the classic Livingston winds came. In the manual it says to take it down but they forgot!) and extra chairs since there is only one adirondack. I guarantee, our holiday card will have a photo of the incredible view. We already wish we were back at Yellowstone River Lodge! Thank you!

Great location on the Yellowstone River
Location is great, house is great. Linens are nice, lots of extra pillows and towels. We had a wonderful time. Our only unmet expectation was that when we ran out of hand soap at the end of the first week, we were told that we were expected to replace it, which contradicts the listing and check in directions to bring nothing but clothes and gear because everything else is provided. The management company did bring out extra Traeger pellets and trash bags (there were none). Overall a great stay, but if you (like me) try to pack everything you need, throw in extra toiletries.

Pictures don’t do this property justice! The lodge is stunning, comfortable, and laid out to accommodate a large family (8 of us). Bring your camera - wildlife everywhere. Close to town (10 mins), nice drive to North YNP entrance (1 hour), plenty of fishing!!!! Kitchen has everything you need. For you parents with little ones - need to make sure the don’t go past the cut grass area alone. There are skunks, deer, elk, bear, coyote, and snakes - that’s what we saw. We fished off the bridge and caught trout. We’ll return here again.
