Motel looks & feels so old. For that kind of a tourist area, around Hearst Castle, motels should be extra clean & updated with new curtains, a TV that works, etc. The breakfast was very adequate but that's the only positive thing I can say about it.

Our suite was very spacious and even had a nice gas fireplace and sitting area. The room was very clean and comfortable. We're already planning another stay at the Morgan so we can visit Hearst Castle during the Christmas season when it's decorated for the holidays.

Older property without remodel along hwy one so traffic noise is primary ambiance and blackout drapes needed for light and noise. Not a bad place to stay but not a great place either.
