If you need additional parking, the Town of Breckenridge offers paid overnight options in two convenient locations: 1) south of town at the Stephen C. West Ice Arena, and 2) north of town at the Airport Road satellite lot, which also accommodates RVs and trailers.

Colorado Traction Law:
From September through May 31, the Colorado Traction Law is in effect for all drivers traveling on I-70 between Morrison and Dotsero as well as US-285 to Breckenridge . This law mandates that vehicles must be equipped with either four-wheel or all-wheel drive and snow-rated or mud + snow tires. Alternatively, vehicles with two-wheel drive must have winter tires, chains, or other traction devices. Ensuring your vehicle is properly equipped is essential for safe winter driving in Colorado. If you’re renting a car, be sure to confirm with your rental company that your vehicle meets these requirements.

Please be aware that during the winter months, roads and driveways are likely to be snow-covered or icy, making four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) essential for safe travel. Excellent location
We had a really nice stay. I will say the hot tub noise is super loud at all hours thru the night. We did not use it bc there was always people from other cottages using it. Overall we would stay here again. Very convenient to all shopping and dining.

Location is Great
The biggest selling point of this particular property is it's location. It's in the heart of downtown Breckenridge but it's quiet, has an identified and dedicated parking space and is "hidden" from the masses that visit the downtown area. Generally speaking it's comfortable and well maintained and, has the essentials required for a nice stay for a Fall homebase if you're interested in walking to restaurants, downtown businesses and other establishments. We used it for a homebase to drive to various trails heads, summit passes and other natural wonders from Vail to the Denver area. If you're interested in skiing there are probably better choices closer to lifts but if you're not skiing this is a good choice. As with all short term rentals, it all depends on your intentions. This property worked for us and we were happy with our choice.

Perfect location
We booked this property for a full week and it was clean and roomy for our family of three! We walked to the grocery (and liquor) store next door, and all the shopping and restaurants down Main and Ridge. Even though we had our vehicle, we walked everywhere in town as well as to several hikes. You're close to the troll! There were plenty of extra items (towels, toiletries, general paper supplies) and kitchen items (nonstick spray, S&P, coffee filters, complimentary coffee, aluminum foil, etc.). My husband's only complaint was that there was no spatula in the kitchen (there are several spreader spatulas, but nothing for a frying pan to flip pancakes or eggs). The stove top is induction, which took a few days to learn. Our stay was met with a bee problem. Think there are bee hives in the outdoor patio lights, so we could not use the kitchen or master balconies as everytime we opened the doors or master bath window bees would get in. Locks on windows and doors are getting old and some did not lock. Came home one day after being gone for a while and the master French doors were WIDE open (the bolt had not been secured when it was last used), the wind had just blew them wide open even though they were locked (but found out not secured). Overall we enjoyed the condo!! And loved having plenty of the humidifiers because we needed them with the fresh mountain air.

Quick walk to peak 9/silverchair lift. Grocery and liquor store 1 block away. Restaurants and shops around the corner on Main Street. Hot tub just outside. Plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. Sofa bed in living room. Had a wonderful stay!

Location! Location! Location!
The location was perfect, walking distance to anything you want or need. The condo is less than a 1/2 block from Main Street. Easy walk to the start of the Independence Day 10K trail race at Carter Park. Perfect set up for two couples. We each had our own bedroom/bathroom on separate floors with living area and kitchen on main floor. We will definitely stay here again.

Great Location
This is the second time we have stayed in this group of townhomes. This is the first time we have stayed in this unit. The location can't be beat in my opinion. Quick walk to the base of Peak 9, multiple restaurants, and the grocery store. We have a family of four (kids 10 and 13). There is plenty of room in the unit and it was very clean. One of the small things that I like about the unit is the heated sidewalks. It's nice (and safe) to be able to walk to the unit on ice/snow free sidewalks. We will definitely rent again in the future.

Spring break skiing
Very close to town and could walk to skiing. Hot tub was enjoyed by our family after skiing. First time to Colorado so climbing stairs was difficult the first couple days until we adjusted. Lots of wear and tear on the corners of the walls and older carpets. Top bunk bed needs newer mattress. Overall this rental was very nice and I would stay here again. Nice to have parking and free ski rental.

Fantastic location
We came to Breckenridge with our 5 teens to ski (ages 13-18). Walkable to Main Street, groceries and either free ride bus or easy walk to Peak 9 chairs. Property was well equipped with kitchens & baths. Big plus for our kids with games, books and plenty of space to hang out + own private hot tub. Great stay and we’ll be back.
