ABOUT THE LOCATION
This charming cabin in the mountains is 10 minutes to historic downtown Breckenridge and world class skiing. It sits on a 1 acre spacious wooded lot, conveniently located on a quiet dead end street just off of highway 9. It is very easy to find and the roads are easy to navigate as well as the driveway. In the winter, our driveway and streets are diligently maintained. In the summer, the abundant wild flowers are a delight as well as the occasional moose sighting!
BEDROOMS
The main level master bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed with down pillows, down comforter, and a duvet. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms. One bedroom has a full size bed and the other is a kids' bunk room with a full and twin on top. A flat screen TV with Play Station is also in this room. For your comfort, all rooms have humidifiers.
THE KITCHEN AND DINNING AREA
The kitchen/dinning area has plenty of seating for everyone. For making meals at home, there is a variety of pots and pans, cooking utensils, and spices. In the summer months there is a weber gas grill out back. There is also a drip coffee maker as well as a french press.
THE LIVING AREA
In the living area you will find a large flat screen TV with a stereo and aux hook up for iPhones. The living area feels quite spacious with its two story vaulted ceiling. A host of games and a wood burning fireplace make this the perfect place to hang out. Comcast cable plus WI-FI are all provided. This authentic cabin, which was built in the 60's, has been thoughtfully decorated to maintain its vintage charming retro style.
OUTSIDE
Outside, a covered deck is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee, and the large patio below with breathtaking mountain views has a big picnic table perfect for a crowd. Also 4 Adirondack around a fire pit is another great place to relax.
NEARBY ACTIVITIES
The area around the cabin is surrounded by numerous 14,000 foot peaks. Minutes away are Quandary peak and epic skiing, hiking, biking and fishing, not to mention the best historic ski town in summit county. Just south, less then a half an hour away are the towns of Alma and Fairplay. Also known as South Park, this area is rich in mining history and offers a beautiful scenic drive with sweeping panoramic views. North of town, are Frisco, Dillon and Silverthorne.
