Front desk clerk was quick and friendly. Unfortunately, there were no luggage carts, even after 45 minutes. There are 100 rooms in the hotel and only 3 luggage carts. To be clear, there was not a rush of people coming and going (not even 3, in the 45 minutes we waited). Our room had a slightly musty smell, not enough to leave, but enough to tell me they need to do a better job of controlling the heat and humidity inside the building. The halls were all hot. These are fixable problems, it is just a matter of whether IHG cares enough to make their hotels on par with other hotel groups.
