Start with good - friendly staff and good thermostat in our room. But otherwise quite a few small annoyances adding up to disappointment. On arrival, we were told: (1) Expedia guests could not get a complimentary upgrade (even though hotel seemed less than half full); (2) the dining venue where breakfast was to have been served was closed, and (3) rooms would be cleaned and refreshed only every other day. The last one meant we had to make beds, and our garbage pails would be emptied infrequently. More annoyances: The hotel charged $2.00 for coffee from a Keurig coffee-maker; particularly in light of the other inconveniences, the coffee should have been complimentary for paying guests (it turns out that hotel management was waiving the charge because the breakfast venue was unavailable, but we were only told that on the last day of our stay). Other frustrations: We had a hard time finding the TV channels we wanted, and it took effort to shake the shampoo and conditioner out of their small, tube-like bottles. One final note: although this isn’t the hotel’s fault, the neighborhood in which the hotel is located is pretty run down; we didn't feel safe walking around at night.

When we arrived, we were unable to access our room as it had been locked from the inside. When then staff broke in for us, the room was dirty as if someone had been hanging out -- empty bottles, a half-full canister of crackers, and pee in the unflushed toilet, as well as an open window. Staff was friendly, but there was garbage in the hallways and elevator every day.

Wow I have NOTHING bad to say about my stay. Everything was absolutely FANTASTIC. The staff was amazing and the rooms were HUGE!!!!!!! Loved it! The pool and hot tub was our favorite. We also enjoyed the giant gymnasium/basketball court. 5 stars!!

My God!! A nostalgic journey in an old relic of mfg now converted into a greY getaway!! I will bring my family next time!! The area is so close to Sturbridge village ,great nearby eateries . I could go on and on and on as I watch the fire pit in the outside court

Wonderful hotel! Unfortunately, there were other guests on our floor that decided it wasnt an issue to run up and down hallways until 2 am, screaming, while others were outside partying until after 2 am as well. Could hear everything! The hotel responded to numerous calls and it finally calmed down. Breakfast was phenomenal (for a fee) and well worth the cost! Hotel has great pool, gym, restaurants, even 2 racquetball courts. Would stay again in the hopes it would be a tad quieter!

Staff were friendly, professional and accomodating. Lobby is lovely. Hotel rooms are very dated. Unfortunately, upon arrival we found that our room had not been cleaned well: dirty towels left in the bathroom, ice bucket still had melted ice in it, and fingerprints remained on the mirrored closet doors. Fortunately, helpful staff moved us to another room. Price is very reasonable, but should include a sanitized room. Sadly, the first room just left us wondering how clean anything was and made for an uncomfortable night.

Nice surprise
Stopped for one night on the way to a wedding. We had a good meal in the restaurant, Shades, then slept well in our beautiful, clean room. It was so quiet and comfortable I didn't want to leave.

One of the Best Hotel I’ve been to.
We were there on August 4th and 5th. The price was very good with the way they kept the room. We got two joint room and kids loved it. The place is very cozy, very specious. Breakfast was good. Had tons of things to do indoor. This is a Bargain for the location.

We had stayed at this property twice before when it was called Southbridge Hotel& Conference Center so we were a bit disappointed this time. It was fine but didn’t seem as upscale as before and I think it’s a bit overpriced.
