We were just passing through so needed a place to sleep at an acceptable standard and Chalet achieved that. We frequently stop at Brunswick over the years and have always enjoyed coffee, lunch or breakfast.

This accomodation should have been condemned. I paid $400 for night. Upon walking in I could smell it was dank. The toilet seat fell off completely and the bathroom hobb tiles were chipped. Mildew along the top of tiles. Manager was drunk when greating us and when complaining of smell he said it had been raining non stop and said yes the carpet felt damp. Later when they came back they denied smelling anything. Offered our money back but we had no choice but to stay in a fully booked town. I asked for a reduction of the rate but they didn’t want to discuss further. By far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Very upset as $400 is a lot of money for a tiny room straight out of the 60’s
