Ok. Sounds good, right? BUT.. the AC system must be fixed! Freezing at 72 degrees, tried to raise to 76. Automatically kicks over to heat and went to over 80! Apparently we weren’t the only ones experiencing this issue.

How is everything?
The title is a question because the staff is looking for feedback and how to make your stay better. Multiple times and multiple staff asked. Attention to service and the facilities was constant, but not too much. They cared about your experience Good price and pet friendly. Breakfast varied daily and better than just cereal and muffins. Housekeeping daily asked what we needed. Reception resolved a checkin issue by upgrade at no cost. Ladback but attentive sums it up. A chance for us to relax. We were there for multiple nights and will stay there next time in town.

It took 30 minutes to check in at 11:30 pm. The bed was terrible: had a ridge in a dirty mattress. It was like sleeping on top of a pool noodle. Hotel advertised an EV charger, but it did not work - despite an ignored inquiry to the hotel to confirm whether it worked. Overall: a horrible experience. Did very little to fix things. Only empty and insincere apologies. Recommend avoid this hotel at all costs.

We arrived to our room for bed around 11:10. Pulled the covers back on the bed and was hit with a putrid smell. It was the pillows. It was so terrible it made the top portion of the bed smell awful. I called the front desk and asked for fresh pillows and was told “ unfortunately we have no extra pillows” I asked to exchange from an unused room, was told “ unfortunately we are fully booked.” So unfortunately I can’t help you! We slept with one pillow wrapped in a towel and placed the remaining towels over the bed. Not comfortable at all, hardly slept and the next day was our “ fun day.” Unacceptable for what I paid for 2 nights. This hotel was our go to place since we visit the area often. The next morning, I saw Jessica from housekeeping and she agreed the pillows needed to be thrown out and immediately replaced all 6.she apologized and said we always have fresh new pillows for guests. The person I spoke to at 11:10 would never enunciate her her properly but I was told by the front desk, Dana was working the previous night. This person could have taken 3 minutes and made our stay great but instead she choose to make it horrible. We won’t return to this hotel and will let ppl know why. I would have even walked down and gotten the pillows so she didn’t have to bring them. Also I was told she told the AM crew she refused to get the pillows for me. I just don’t understand.

My husband and I were quite pleased with our stay at the LaQuintq in Brunswick. Easy to get to and the room was quite nice. The people at the front desk with extremely helpful and it was just a great hotel. I'd stay their again/
