Dirty, the carpet oozed mud. Poorly maintained, the fixtures were coming off. Rude staff- they just moved us into aanothe room without telling us, we came back late after a show and the key cards would not work. They did not apologize or even care. They then proceeded to bill us double for our original room and the new one. UNSAFE- smoke detetctors were hanging from the walls. The fire alarm went off at night and the NYFD said it was because of a faulty fire alarm.

Our room had a soda bottle by bed when when we entered. And our other room had some lip gloss and small amount off trash on floor between beds. All else was wonderful . The staff and service was great.

The only reason they ask about the area around the property is to boost their reviews, since the hotel is so close to Times Square. Without location, their reviews would be far lower. This property is understaffed. One person working the desk at Christmas time! No one answers the phone at front desk so everyone who needs something or has a question has to wait a half hour in line. Luggage carts can only be used by bellman, and they are the slowest I’ve ever experienced. They stand around and talk while 4 luggage carts sit unused, and guests have to make multiple elevator trips to get their luggage where it needs to go. The hotel is under construction, so the only bathroom available is in your room. They have a coffee and snack stand set up in the lobby, which is helpful but the area is already too cramped with people trying to check in or wait for help with luggage.

We got Free Upgraded room which was great !! Though we got upgraded premium room, room is not sound proof!! So much noisy !! Work is going on! Elevator ding noise , people talking noise etc . We paid $15 / room /day for breakfast; they give apple, muffin , one juice / coffee only Lobby does not have restroom/ no restaurant Baggage service is great

Better service if you book through the hotel
Nice hotel, they gave us an old non remodeled room because we booked thru hotels.com. The bell hop/ concierge were super nice and friendly and so were the take and go breakfast workers
