Our room smelled with musty, old carpet, and the elevator was out of order (a nasty surprise when they put you in the 3rd floor). But the staff was excellent, helpful, and cheerful. The “Cowboy Buffet” was an INCREDIBLE VALUE for the $26 price (as of August 2024). The sheer quantity of food was stunning, and most of it was very fresh; an excellent value. The included breakfast was also very fresh with a lot of choices. We used the laundry facilities, which were adequate & all working. Overall, we had a very nice time at this hotel.

Our room had a shower/tub that drained extremely slowly. Also the floor had a sagging/bounciness in the middle like it wasn't well supported and it felt weir to walk on. There was evidence it was causing the tiles in the bathroom to crack as well.

Ruby's Inn complex is a huge with many lodging buildings throughout the property. It was like a little town in a little town. The on-site store was very convenient and the complimentary breakfast buffet was fantastic every morning.

Disappointing at best.😩
It was so very noisy until after 1am. The noise came from the room next door to our room and room located above us. It sounded like a herd of elephants stampeding. No way to rest at all. The beds were not comfortable. The carpets were old and grungy. Our room smelled as if an old dirty dog had stayed before us. For $273 dollars per night you should be able to expect much better than this.
