It duals as a hostel and a guesthouse/Hotel. I stayed in the hostel dormitories in the basement. Generally, this establishment is friendly, very nice, clean, and helps you with storing bags and stuff before and after check in. Reception sells many types of drinks. Price is fair.
Location is not too bad, but immediately around the hostel, there is not any shops or anything I could find. Its a residential area, with the occasional local restaurant. I walked everywhere when I stayed here. Piata Romana/Metro is 10 minutes, old town 20-25 minutes and Village museum 60 minutes. All in all a great stay and I would definitely consider staying here again next time in Bucharest. If you take tours with a tour company, they will probably be able to pick you up and drop off at nearby Sheraton, only 7-8 minutes walk so this place is good also for that.
