Hotel Alpenblick is super cozy! A 5 minute walk from the starting point to the journey towards the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise. With a “mountain view” room you get an amazing look at the Matterhorn itself. Fabien at reception was extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. He took us to the train station at 7:45 AM so we could make the Glacier Express. He was also very easy to talk to and made great conversation. Although we only stayed 1 night, it was still a fabulous place to stay. Their breakfast was also delicious and is typically included in your stay. Thank you, Hotel Alpenblick!

This hotel is beside the Hotel Tannenhof which is the lobby you go to to check in. Hotel Alpina is the epitome of what you would expect for a swiss hotel stay. I loved everything about it. The room with a balcony, the elevator with its quirks, and the community guest area. Highly recommend taking the Matterhorn Glacier Express to get the most amazing mountain views. October also provided jaw dropping colours. For me this was a dream come true stay.
