Small, old-school, basic motel with parking in front of your room, therefore view onto the small carpark. Renovated, so felt fresh, but curtains were falling off the rails and were difficult to close, and the shelf in the shower was broken and missing so the only place to put shampoo etc was on the floor. Kitchenette with sink, fridge, microwave, jug, toaster, tea/coffee. Bed,del, a couple of lounge chairs, tv.
Check in around the corner in another hotel.
However it was cheap (for Byron Bay), great position (5 mins walk to centre of town, 5 mins to beach), eateries and shops around, and it was quiet. All in all worthwhile if you're on a budget.
