First off all there's no elevator only stairs to the second floor. I had to request a room on the first floor due to the luggage's due to preparing for the deer season and staff was reluctant to change us to accommodate us. After changing the room keys he only activated only one key card!!! Do not bring luggage's if you stay here during deer season. This property is older 2 nights the toilet made noise throughout the night without being used. Reported as as soon as we got into the the staff assured mean that he would have someone come out and fix it the next morning, which did not happen nor did he change the room. He stated there was no more rooms available on the first floor. So no I will not advise anyone to stay. Of course I did call the 800 number and spoke to someone and they said as well. The toilet bowls are old and they do make noise, but he didn't see any leakage so therefore he couldn't do anything to accommodate my price that I paid for tonight which was almost $300. Unacceptable!!!!

Ok for a quick overnight but nothing more.
Room was clean but very dated The toilet is very low like a kindergarten classroom. Not appropriate fro adults of any age. The carpet had burrs from the outside. When you stepped on them it didn’t cut your foot but you got a sharp poke. Must be a Texas thing because last nights Hampton had the same thing. If you had a fenced dog yard you could control what was growing in it and what the dogs tracked in on the carpet. The grass outside was littered with dog poop that other owners did not pick up. We left nothing.

The hotel is not bad. The rooms are a little dated, particularly the carpets. The toilet was too low to the floor. Not easy for seniors to use. Also, there was no elevator.

It’s clear there has been almost no upkeep and care to this property. Our room had bedcovers with holes in them. The walls had visible damage that gave the impression of active mold growth. The bathroom door wouldn’t close unless you used your entire body weight to push it into an improperly repaired frame. Nowhere did we read there was no elevator- when we asked for a 1st floor room to accommodate our physical limitations (a 74 yr old - and awaiting orthopedic surgery) - we were refused even though it was clear there were rooms available. The front desk person was not helpful, unfriendly, bordering on rude. Next time I’ll pay the $200 a night to stay at Hampton Inn across the street. I learned a valuable lesson.
