We stay here each year on our way to the snow. It’s super convenient.
We were placed in a room this time in a block with a tourist group. The group were up at 5am and drained all the hot water so we had none.
Very lovely front desk staff who offered us another room to shower in bit the room smelt terrible.

The location is not easy to find at night.
And it was uncomfortable because the soundproofing was poor, and the mattress was too soft, which was also uncomfortable.
The fridge didn’t work. There’s no kettle or cutlery in the room or cups or plates. Stay here before and it was much better than this time round.

Property was value for money and the location is silent, though it is isolated from the city. The toilet was not clean and has stains, which was not cleaned properly. The telephone in the room was not working and I was not able to contact with reception.
Customer service was not good no one from service desk answered the room phone causing me to have to walk to the office because the internet password wouldn’t work my only option after walking to the office was to pay for premium service then I got lost on the way back to my room
The curtain hooks need to be replaced & attached to the curtain rods. The shower head was faulty & spurted out abruptly. The shower tap handle needs a marker where off is so you know which way to turn it off. Otherwise it was excellent accomodation, warm and comfortable.
Ibis Eaglehawk has been the place to stay for us when we visit Canberra for last 5-10years.
Although this time around the experience has left me to reconsider the place to stay next time.
We arrived late and found the room had no water glasses no cups no kettle. Kids could not drink water. And no tea and coffee facilities.
Basically, it was a room with beds, Bedding, And bathroom facilities.
The fridge was provided, but it was turned off.
I’m disappointed at the dropping standards.

The hotel is nice overall, but the breakfast buffet could be improved. The service and food options need enhancement, including better coffee options for those who can drink full milk. It seems the old coffee machine either doesn't work, staff are unwilling to use it, or they don't know how to make coffee properly.
Also, the bed liner is for summer and the beds are cold with no blankets in the wardrobe.
