Hotel is not very accommodating, very rude management staff who all appear to not care about genuine customer service. The room was musty and damp at times, patio door with no handle to get back in. Parts of the hotel were satisfactory but for a VIP service it really wasn’t worth the money. It’s a nightmare to book into restaurants, they ask you to use QR codes etc only to find it’s constantly down. This results in management changing the process or rules to suit them.

This was our 1st time in Cancún and we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the resort! We enjoyed the buffet for most of our meals since there is so much to choose from. For lunch and breakfast Rubicel took very good care of us! We will definitely be back next year!

This hotel served as a transitional stay during our trip to Cancun. As an all-inclusive hotel, the price was very affordable, and we only stayed for one night. The room was generally clean, and the ocean-view scenery was decent. However, the experience was far from perfect. The bathroom light was broken, and none of the switches worked despite multiple attempts. We called the front desk, but no one answered. After two more calls and a long wait, someone finally picked up. However, after explaining the issue, they said they would transfer us to another department. Unfortunately, no one ever picked up again. Since it was just a one-night stay, we decided to put up with it, but the poor service was extremely disappointing. This was the first time we encountered such terrible hotel service, which overshadowed the otherwise budget-friendly stay.

Overall for the price we had a wonderful stay ! It was very clean and well maintained. Staff was really great and attentive. We found the food to have lots of options and good for a 3'star resort ! We always had lots of choices of things we liked for us and the kids! Our only downfalls were the slides often were not open, the pools were very cold, and our shower was cold. We told front desk twice about this and nothing was done! Other than that tho - it was a very good experience for our family ! Especially for the price we paid !

Everything was just okay….the food was not great….the restaurants requiring reservations did not have the food advertised on the menus. The buffet was just okay. The staff were all very nice…from the front desk, housekeeping, lounge bar and adult pool bar.

Okay place to stay with my family, there was always something to do and there was always something to rat around the place no matter the time. Dinner reservations were hard to do and confusing. At check in we were told no reservations were needed for a particular restaurant and when we showed up we were told the policy changed just earlier that day and reservations were needed. When we finally attempted a reservation they booked so quickly we just had to settle for whatever time slot was available. My children enjoyed the water slides and the pools as well as the family rooms and the mini golf areas! They liked that the buffet had good breakfast, lunch and dinner options and they particularly enjoyed the ice cream for lunch/dinner. This place was okay to stay the staff was always friendly and kind.

Don’t lose your pool towel or they’ll charge you $400 peso. Also, at checkin, they didn’t have our reservation. Stood at the counter for 30 minutes, having an anxiety attack, while they tried to figure it out.
