Just got back yesterday. We enjoyed our trip up until there was a power outage, which was not fixed in a decent amount of time. Aside from the electric issue, I still wouldn't rebook this hotel again. We had a good trip (because like everyone said, the staff were amazing and the beach is beautiful); however, the lack of ala carte food options was disappointing (only 2 options for dinner every night) and the maintenance of the resort seemed to be next to non-existent. There was literally no night entertainment. If I could re-do my booking, I probably would. There were too many other options available for around the same price range.

where to start. 10 years ago this was a gem. the last few trips has been steady decline. on Wednesday the staff went on strike. no food at a all inclusive on 2 nites no water in the room 2 days no hot water all 11 days phone in the room did not work. breaker for the lights popped 2 different times. tried to check out 0n day 2 they said there would be no refunds!!! the only way this is still open is the house staff they are the best. pay them! sadly this will be my last trip to the golden. way to distroy a hidden gem.

DO NOT STAY HERE! House keeping stole my nike sneakers there was water falling from the ceilings on to my bed .place smelled moldy .no a/c . Food was not great.. only breakfast. Some staff were great . No activities in the hotel .. boring place

The hotel is old and has had numerous repairs, paint is peeling in places. The staff was great. MARTIN greeted us and was great. The staff in general was great. The beach and pool are nice as is the service. Food was good. For the price it was good but you get what you pay for. We have definitely stayed in nicer places and paid more for it. The room was nice. 2 restaurants were not open when we were there.

We love the staff at Gokden Parnassus. They are the reason we return here each time. From the maintenance and cleaning staff, bartenders, servers, cooks to the entertainment staff, they are all amazing and friendly. They truly make you feel like family. It does appear that they are doing aone remodeling to the rooms, which is needed The beds are not comfortable and the pillows are awful. If the owner would just go through and have the grout scraped out everywhere and fix things instead of just painting over everything it would be a beautiful property. We can tell that the staff does everything they can to make it clean and inviting for the guests and that is why we will always return.

This property was a hot mess! The disrepair has been over at least a decade. There are pieces the building falling off in much need of a paint job everywhere. The mold is so bad I had to go to the pharmacy to get medication for a sinus infection due to the mold. The air conditioning was minimal. And the food was absolutely terrible! I would not go back and I would not recommend this property.

Only view I like, something was hanging from the sealing, like this room has to be fixed, no towels for shower, evry time I have to look for a house kipper andasktowels or even bottled water, but in this hotel water is limited only two a day for two of us. No refrigerator or other drinks like juice or soda. We had worst experience in our life with that hotel, such a great place but terrible hotel. I never will stay in that hotel and tell all my friends avoid this one.

First the good. In the Hotel Zone, not far from all the action, which is good cause there’s no party vibe in the hotel itself lol. The building is clearly old, but maintained and cleaned well enough. Has a retro charm to it from a certain point of view I guess. Buffet is very simple but gets the job done, they don’t try to get fancy or do foreign foods, it’s just mexican style home cooking which I actually liked but others may find lacking. The little spot making simple tacos by the pool until late at night is awesome. The beach is great, nice and clean, easy to grab a spot and a drink. Staff was cool, check-in was long but besides that they’re usually on top of things. I was 4th floor ocean view and the view of the beach was gorgeous, my balcony was a great chill spot. Now the bad. Random $18 fee on check in for some beach cleaning “tax”, suspicious but whatever. The cleaners knock at 8:30am everyday which is way too early for those trying to sleep in. There was also no fridge in the room, which seems weird to me. And my biggest gripe, which is the reason why I rate this resort 3 stars despite the 4 star value: an annoying and loud mechanical buzzing on and off in the room (not the a/c) made sleeping quite difficult. Had to sleep with my airpods in. I don’t know if it’s just an issue with my room in particular, but I definitely wasn’t impressed.
