The Space:
Tiny Balloon House by Tiny Away overlooks broad-acre wheat and canola fields for vacationers to enjoy nature's seasonal views, located just 2 hours away from Canberra. Nearby Cowra Japanese Garden and Canowindra Balloon Festival, held every year.
A cozy 139 square-foot tiny home with easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include a waterless eco-friendly compost toilet, hand basin, and shower.
If you plan to spend your tiny house NSW getaway here, please bring your basic necessities during your stay. We ask that you bring biodegradable products to ensure that greywater runoffs flow easily and do not harm the environment. Thank you!
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the tiny house and the surrounding areas, including the swimming pool and campfire area.

Tiny Balloon House by Tiny Away is a private retreat in Canowindra, nearby Canowindra Balloon Festival. Located just 2 hours away from Canberra.

- Lawrence's IGA is a grocery store that provides all of your basic needs.
- Delice Coffee is a cafe that serves good coffee, delicious meals, and service after coming from a long trip.
- Nangar National Park is the ideal spot for scenic views, bushwalking, birdwatching, camping, and picnics.
- Golf Club Chinese Restaurant is a fabulous Chinese cuisine that serves your favorites such as won tons, dim sims, beef & black bean, honey soy chicken, and chow mien.
- Cowra Japanese Garden is a popular tourist attraction base on Japanese landscapes. Its special features include a Bonsho Bell, a traditional Edo Cottage, an authentic open-air Tea House, and a Bonsai House.

By car: 4.5 hours from Sydney
2 hours from Canberra and one hour from Orange, Parks and Forbes
By public transport: Public transport is not available
Other Things to Note:
- No smoking allowed on the property
- Fresh eggs are available for breakfast
- No unregistered guests or visitors are allowed
- Please don't enter animal paddocks or yards without the land host's permission
- We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge
- Balloon flights are also available for an additional fee and must be pre-booked through our website

- Due to the nature of the property, abundant wildlife may be present on the property
- Keep in mind that BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban
- For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain the compost toilet and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests. We appreciate your understanding.
