This private self-entry luxury suite of 3 rooms offers you a private front and a lovely sitting room with full size sofa that has two reclining seats. Then there is a Queen sized bed/ bedroom, private bath with glass door step in shower that has dual shower heads and ample room for two people. The apartment is at the front of my home, and completely private from my living space all to the rear. I welcome guests from all racial and international backgrounds, and I welcome LGBTQ guests.

The Osprey Nest is located only a 10 minute bike ride from the best sunsets in South Jersey overlooking the Delaware Bay. It is only a 15 minute drive to the best beaches, restaurants, and attractions of Cape May, Cape May Point, and The Wildwoods. The location is truly in the center of everything this area has to offer. When you come home, my guests all comment on and love the peace and serenity of the neighborhood. You would never realize there is so much activity 10 minutes away.

The suite was recently renovated with new paint, carpets and new memory foam mattress. The bathroom has handicap access, grip bars, and subway-tiled step in shower with glass door. Complete with granite and marble appointments. I have on demand hot water so there is an endless supply of hot water to indulge yourself in a wonderful shower. I provide organic body products, shampoo, blow dryer, etc.

The bedroom offers a Queen sized bed with dream memory foam top, elegant Egyptian cotton or bamboo linens, and comfy hotel quality pillows. Plenty of luxurious cotton bath towels. Since we sleep 30% of our life, I believe comfort should be invested in the mattress, linens, pillows, etc. I also provide beach chairs, and beach tags, but not beach towels.

Upon entry, is the sitting room with a full sized leather sofa with reclining seats at both ends. There is a 40 inch Samsung smart TV and Sony DVD player. Easy to stream apps, or use the HDMI wire I provide already
installed into the rear of the TV, so you can stream from your computer or device. For sound there is a surround sound Polk sound bar for TV or streaming music from your phone/device apps.

The delightful covered front porch with cushioned chairs and a table, exclusively for private use of my guests. Please be advised there is NOT A FULL KITCHEN, however there is a toaster oven, microwave, under-counter refrigerator, a selection of glassware, including wine glasses, plates, bowls, and all utensils. Other amenities include Kuerig coffee maker or a French coffee press. I provide a few coffee pods, but if you’d like to use the French press, please bring your favorite ground coffee with you. I also supply half-and-half and a couple of bottles of water to get you started. If you need more frig or freezer space , there is a full-size refrigerator around the side of the front porch. I am happy to make space for your items in that refrigerator if the small one inside the apartment is not sufficient.

Guests enter through a separate front door, immediately to the right as you step up onto the porch. The door has a sign which says “Osprey Nest”. It has a secure keyless number pad entry, programmed with a unique code for each guest. Your code begins at 3 PM on day of arrival and ends at 11 AM on day of departure.

I have a dog named Canela (Spanish word for cinnamon), a rescued Cavalier King Charles spaniel. She is a hypoallergenic breed so there are not allergy concerns. I am always nearby and available for any questions or advice. I have lived in Cape May for most of my life, and have extensive knowledge about restaurants, history, and fun things to see and do! Every season has a special charm. Christmas and dappled snow on Victorian mansions is so magical.

After my guests reserve I send a welcome email response with a PDF attachment. It contains information about my property and offers you recommendations about the area. Please note most fine dining restaurants in Cape May do accept reservations. It is important to make restaurant choices with reservations well advance of your stay.
