We stayed at Harfield 1 week visiting family who lived close by. We thoroughly felt at home here and very comfortable. Our bedroom had en suite, bath and shower, nice decor and quality of furnishings etc. Small patio too with table and chairs which we enjoyed using. Staff friendly, willing to help advise on day trips etc, we enjoyed breakfasts very much, plentiful and wide variety on offer each day. Only slight problem was with the tv in our room which seemed to be connected to the main lounge tv ? and several times when watching a football match in our bedroom, it was re tuned to a different station which over rode our viewing choice, which we couldn't then re-tune! A bit annoying at the time, but over all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would happily re visit in the future. That said, our family lived close by so this location was ideal for us, and for day trips to Stellenbosch wine lands, Cape Point, Simons Town on the coast, and Table mountain. But Harfield is on the quieter side of Table mountain, suited us but some might prefer the hustle and bustle of the Water front or central Cape Town.
