Nice and affordable hotel. Lovely staff.

The lady at reception was very kind and complimentary. Made us feel welcome. The room had all the amenities youd night while away from home. The rooms are a little outdated and personal preference the bed was too firm for me. All round a good hotel; affordable pricing and 24hr staff. Would return.

The most welcoming hotel in Cardiff. Alison is a most customer friendly host. On this occasion I was moved across the road to the lodge because of filming taking place in the Sandringham. My room was warm and tidy and my bed very comfortable

Overnight stay

If you looking for a bed to sleep in overnight and nothing else this is it. Extremely run down hotel, needs refurb from top to bottom. Didnt even venture into the bar. Staff great, room warm and quiet which was all we wanted after concert. No mention from staff about evening meal or breakfast (which we would have declined).

An average stay although for the price I wasn't expecting alot. The main issue was the room was so cold. The room only had a small electric heater but it didn't really warm the room up much.

Look beyond first impressions

We had two double rooms - clean and adequate. Good shower. Fabulous freindly attentive receptionist. All good. Would and have recommended especially for location and value for money.
