Lovely little value for money gem.
Very friendly staff. All basic amenities there, kettle, ironing board etc. Hotel a little dated, but that’s reflected in price. We had noise from barriers on road from early hours. But you are in the centre of Cardiff, so noises to be expected. Really enjoyed our stay .

The bed was very comfortable, probably the most comfortable hotel bed that I have experienced. Result - I slept like a log. Great shower too. The room was clean and tidy. I enjoyed my stay.

Clean and tidy, and very central. Some noise at night as it's in a busy area but I had no problem sleeping. The hotel is a little dated but everything was clean and working. Everyone was also very friendly at reception.

A little gem in the centre of the city!!
We had a wonderful stay here! ..Alison & Simon are fabulous hosts ..they really can't do enough for you!! The hotel itself is abit tired & really needs a refurb.. but this is reflected in the very reasonable rates. It is perfectly clean & tidy..which is more important to me!!.. we would definitely stay again.. & infact we have already re-booked!!

The property is central, so walking distance to Arena for gigs, plenty of shops & restaurants & close to sightseeing spots. The staff were friendly & helpful and recommended a great place to have dinner. The bed was super comfortable, room a good size......the walls & wood surround show use & look tired. Amenities were okay, but there was only one bottle of hand & body wash in the bathroom, so you had to put it in the shower & the move it back to the sink. One in each location is preferable as a traveller. I would happily stay there again.

The hotel was a little tired but this would be expected for the price. Great value for money. The rooms were very clean with crisp white linen on the bed. Alison who was on reception was lovely. She made me feel at home and was bright and cheerful with a ready smile. Well done to Alison. I would recommend as this hotel is centrally located and doesn’t charge stupid prices.

This is a gem of a hotel in the middle of Cardiff. You can not ask for a better location. Minutes from the train station and surrounded by all the restaurants, shops and sights you want. The hotel is old, but not run down. It has personality and charm. Everything works and it's very clean. The owners are the friendlies people you can imagine and you feel instantly welcome. I can't wait to visit again.
