We had a nice room on the first floor. Very comfortable. The Stratford could provide a better breakfast with more variety - cereal, toast & yogurt did not do it for me. However, the inn is well maintained and very convenient to downtown shopping & theaters.

This hotel presents like a run down travel lodge. Rooms date back to 70s. Stuffing in chairs came out when you sat down and clung to pants. No food options within walking distance. Only yogurt and coffee for breakfast. Will not stay again.

My family drives from Seattle to San Francisco every year, and we love staying overnight at the Stratford. It is casual, friendly, clean, and safe. The saltwater pool is a great bonus!

Our stay was okay. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel pool and breakfast were disappointing. Pool was cold and the hot tub was incredibly hot so you couldn’t enjoy either. Unless I missed something, breakfast was limited to dry breads, cereals, and yogurt. I chose a bagel which ended up being still frozen in the middle. Overall, not the worst but just some things to keep in mind when booking, especially if you’re traveling with kids.

We'd go out of our way to stay here again!
This was one of our more delightful hotel experiences. The hotel is really lovely, with an indoor pool that our kids loved and a STELLAR breakfast buffet. But what made it really special was the staff, who were genuinely warm and thoughtful.
