One of the better budge properties, and certainly the best Super 8 I’ve stayed at in memory. I stayed at this property twice in a week (coming/going from elsewhere).
Clean, everything works, bed was comfortable. Walkable (a mile/1.6km) to town or Shakespeare Festival through neighborhoods, I really like that.
Only thing that bugged me was the desk clerk (son of the owners I think) gave me a great,
Upstairs, quiet room the first time, and on my repeat visit recognized me and gave me the worst room in the property (ground floor with the oft-used ice machine literally outside the door). Not what I expect as a quiet, well mannered repeat guest. He claimed they were sold out…I suspect they give better rooms to people who book directly as the hotel keeps more of the money.
Regardless, I will stay again.
