Our property is a legally permitted vacation rental as required by Charleston City ordinance. Our certificate of operational number is OP2024-05539

One block from the heart of the entertainment district of Upper King Street. You will know you are in the South when you are greeted by 6 large palms, a live oak, and a large sycamore tree at the front of the property.

The property consists of three rental units. Unit A which is the bottom floor of the historic house (this listing), Unit B which is the top Floor of the historic house and Unit C which is the addition in the back of the property.

When you step into Unit A off of the front porch, you will enter the living space. This area features an original fireplace and historic hardwood floors. The home was fully restored and renovated to result in Charleston charm with modern convenience.

Love Music? We have an in-wall system for streaming your favorite Spotify or Pandora playlist through the in-ceiling speakers. The property includes Wi-Fi throughout, as well as CAT-6 cables to provide faster, more reliable and more secure internet.

Living room – The beautiful living space has 4 comfortable chairs, a large sturdy ottoman bench, and a pull-out Queen sofa sleeper – perfect for relaxing with your friends and family. Natural lighting flows through the large windows. The space also features a 55-inch Smart, high-definition TV and state-of-the-art sound system. The living space is open-concept and flows straight into the kitchen.

Kitchen – Whether you are dining in or just hanging out with a coffee or cocktail, the kitchen is made to accommodate you. Gather around the gorgeous island including bar seating for 4. The kitchen features high end granite, under-counter lighting, dimmable lights, sound system, large refrigerator with ice and water dispenser. Plus, all the conveniences of a modern kitchen: dishwasher, stove, microwave, toaster, garbage disposal, Ninja blender and Keurig beverage maker. The kitchen is also fully supplied with dishes, silverware, cooking pots and pans, wine glasses, cookie sheet, mixing bowls, and casserole dishes.

Bedrooms – After a full day of fun in Charleston, you will be ready to retire to one of the 4 bedrooms. Each bedroom offers an exceptionally comfortable queen bed that is serviced with quality linens. In addition, each one of our beautiful well-appointed bedrooms has access to wireless high-speed internet as well as CAT-6 jacks for the secure minded traveler. Select rooms are equipped with 33" SMART TV's with CAT-6 interfaces for streaming your favorite movies and tunes.

Bathrooms – There are two bathrooms in this unit. The larger bathroom on the right side is located outside of bedrooms 1 and 2. It offers a large shower with dual shower heads, frameless shower doors and custom tiling. The second bathroom is on the left side of the house near bedrooms 3 and 4. It is tastefully decorated with a custom shower stall and pedestal sink. For your enjoyment, luxury towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap and toilet paper are provided.

Laundry – We have a full-sized, high-end GE washer and dryer near bedrooms 1 and 2. Special feature is its steam/de-wrinkling function. Laundry detergent is provided.

Parking – Don’t worry about downtown parking – we have you covered! Our property provides two parking spaces on-site so you won’t need to bother with the busy street or garage.

Outstanding Charleston Property.
Stayed here as my daughter was getting married at the Historic Rice Mill. We had the bottom unit (A). Very clean and close to everything. Plenty of bedrooms for our party. Big kitchen area . They do only have 2 parking spots for each unit, so you just need to be aware if you have friends visiting that they don’t take someone else’s space. I needed to move our cars a few times as when the wedding party was getting dressed, both the wedding planner and the hair and make up company needed spaces to park. There are 2 parking garages just right down the street, so it was no big deal. Definitely recommend and would stay there again.

The PERFECT Bach house for our 10 girls (2 girls to a bed, including the sofa sleeper). It was walkable to pretty much everything on King, which saved us a lot of money on Ubers. We absolutely loved the location and the house itself was stunning and made for the perfect backdrop for all our photos. The house had everything we needed (glassware, vases, trays, platters, pitchers). Just seriously can’t say enough how perfect it was! The only adjustment to make it even better would be a keyless entry - just with girls coming and going, having a door code would’ve been easier, but it really was not a big deal since multiple keys are provided!

Amazing location. We did a lot of walking and it was so easy to get around. A great bakery one door down (Browns Court Bakery) and another breakfast spot about a block away (island provisions). Unit A was clean and good amenities. Owners are very kind and communicative. Only minor downfall was sound proofing is not great between Unit A and Unit B (the upstairs unit). It was tolerable, but the bachelor party upstairs clearly enjoyed their weekend.

We loved our stay, especially because of the walkability of the neighborhood… such a quick stroll to King St. and cute places like The Tiny Tassel! Bakery next door was divine. Home is very clean and there’s plenty of room— we had 9 women for a bachelorette party and we fit comfortably. Note that the kitchen island with bar stools is the only table— so if you’re planning large group dinners (etc.), some people will need to stand or sit separately in the living room on couches/floors. Only one full length mirror and none in rooms, so bring your makeup mirrors with if you’re a bach party! Kitchen is well stocked, porch was great for lounging. We’d definitely stay here again!!
