Very clean hotel. Room seemed very clean, However, when I used a black light on the easy chair and desk chair it revealed several stains all over the chair. In my opinion, I assume it was bodily fluids. So I did not sit in the easy chair. I did put towels down on the desk chair. I really think this was a great Hotel. To be fair, every hotel probably has this same issue. Best not to take black light with you.

The hotel itself is in a great location near upper King Street and is close to tons of shopping and great restaurants. The hotel itself is located right between Meeting and King, but the short street it is on is not necessarily scenic. It is a bit of a walk to attractions like the waterfront, South of Broad, and the Battery, but the walk is flat, doable, and takes you through some of the most scenic parts of the city. As for the hotel itself: the staff was friendly and helpful. It offers a run of the mill continental breakfast buffet that has everything you need. Our room was spacious and had a great view of the Ravenel Bridge. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. The only minor complaint we could manufacture is that the furniture was a bit worn. However, it in no way diminished our stay. We would definitely recommend the hotel

The staff was wonderful but didn’t receive room service one day and had to ask for clean towels. Ran out of toilet paper and had to use tissues. Also the bar area had a lot of fruit flies and did not go back. They need to get an exterminator

I requested an ADA room. Upon arrival was told that the type of booking I had requested was overbooked; being upgraded at no additional fee. "Upgrade"was not ADA! First experience was dropping about six inches lower than anticipated as I used the commode. No grab bar in the entire bathroom! Reported my displeasure the next morning. Assured after awhile that an ADA suite was available on another floor, still had to be cleaned. Accepted that solution and went out to enjoy a day in the Charleston area.When we returned, the unit was not yet ready for occupancy, but we could pack our belongings in the first room and a staff member would transport the baggage to the new suite.The work crew apologized that the tub stool was not yet installed, but brought a tub chair, which was satisfactory. Tested the height of the commode and found it to be satisfactory. The staff were polite and apologetic all the way but in neither suite were we given any orientation about how to operate the TV or other amenities. Soon discovered the cabinetry below the kitchen sink (which contained trash can) opened with a loud screech and entry door was difficult to close and lock. Difficulty manipulating TV controls; gave up. Discovered bathroom had three bath towels, three wash clothes, no hand towels, and an inoperative hand-held shower. The next day when we returned the entry door would not close at all. Another call to maintenance. Need I say more? At check-out given one-day adjustment on bill.

We enjoyed the size of the suites. Very comfortable. Especially if you plan a several day trip, this set of rooms makes you return "home" every night with pleasure. The staff were friendly and hospitable.

The room was nice and spacious. We loved the ceiling fan! We did NOT like the person who tried to sell us Hilton Honors program. Ruined our breakfast! Last thing we want on our vacation is a salesperson trying to get us to spend even more money. The property surrounding the hotel was absolutely filthy. Lots of homeless people and trash. Just a short walk from a shuttle stop, which was nice. The valet service was very nice.
