Francis Marion - First class!

Francis Marion is first class! The room was perfect. The location can’t be beat. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.we will be returning to The Francis Marion our next Charleston Trip. Oh and the views of Charleston are Beautiful from your room!

Great stay!

This hotel is in a great location and the staff are fantastic! My only note is that the furnishings could use an update. It’s a historic hotel, with great character and charm, but some aspects of it just feel old.

We had a really enjoyable stay at the Francis Marion. Our family of 4 stayed for a week and we were very comfortable in our room; it’s in a perfect location for shopping, dining, and sightseeing. The staff was friendly and efficient!

It was a beautiful hotel, and EVERYONE was very friendly and kind. They did seem to care about your needs and the rooms were very clean, even the bed sheets smelled like I had just washed them!

It was fantastic! Only issue we had was our toilet gave us trouble flushing. Had to call maintenance twice. I was happy I was staying with one of my best friends with a bathroom situation. I would definitely stay there again.

We loved this historic hotel. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to jump start our rental vehicle, twice when it wouldn’t start. The property is lovely; very clean and well maintained for its age. Conveniently located and walkable. Would stay here again.

Staff were to helpful. Cookies and water in the afternoons. Champagne and crackers and cheese on Friday night! Lovely. Everyone held the doors, people were always cleaning. Just lovely
