Valet nightmare
Valet parking was a nightmare. We used the app and in many instances it took 20 to one time 30 minutes to get our car and when arriving we had to sit on street for up to 10 minutes to leave car. Very hazardous set up.

The concierge lounge is a great amenity and nice touch, but it is quite small for how many people it serves. It is a beautiful building. That is all the nice things I have to say frankly. The staff was rude or not helpful. Our bedroom's pillows were worthless, and the guests beside us kept us up being loud till 3am. Then we were awakened by the CLT marathon at 7am. The valet service took forever and messed with so much in our car and took apart my boyfriend's keys. Last time we stayed in CLT we stayed in a much less "nice" hotel, yet the experience there was much better.

Nice property but beware of duplicate charges
Great upscale property. However I have stayed here twice, and had a problem with valet parking both times. I pre-paid for valet parking, and the hotel charged me separately for valet parking. When I tried to dispute the charge, they responded that they had not charged me separately..? I have the statements to dispute it but it has been such a pain for something that never should’ve happened in the first place.

awful experience. Lovely hotel but there was a marathon outside that started at 6am. There was a DJ with giant speakers on the street so the music kept me up. I wasnt feeling well and the hotel staff allowed a late check out which was nice. My curtains also wouldnt shut all the way due to some buttons at the top not secured to overlap them. one other item to mention is when i ask the tstat to put the fan on high for sound and air movement, it doesnt work. it seems to be controlled from some eco setting that wont allow the fan to stay on.

It was VERY peaceful. The only thing I regret is not going to Aura (I think that’s the name of it) while I was there. I and my boyfriend was in complete heaven. The staff was very respectable to him as he came in and left out. Didn’t harass him. The staff left us in peace. I felt sooooo safe.

Was there for music concerts. Room 1702 was fantastic excellent views. Hotel is perfect downtown location with excellent onsite restaurants.
