It was a great stay! The room was really big. Close to everything you want to do in Chester. I never really saw anybody, either staff or other guests, which was just fine with me.

We were refused bottled water for our room even though it clearly says ‘free bottled water’ on the booking, when we asked the staff for some water they said “we don’t give free water out”. There was roadworks right outside our room at 06:30 this morning. Room is very very basic and we had the so called premium room.

Wonderfull room at front of the house. A room with a view! Second floor without elavator is a bit uncomfortable with much lugage. Third bed was awefull > broken back.... Breakfast was WONDERFULL! Location Superb!

Loved this hotel so central near the Cathedral a beautiful room on the first floor very clean and spacious with everything you would want for a comfortable stay.

Good but needs attention
Conveniently placed, easy to check in and out. Room 8 needs a little attention in the bathroom - toilet holder loose, shower door not on runner and had to fix, shower head very small and water only ran warm. Bed also very soft - works for some, didn’t for us. When woke up in morning, all the corridor and staircase smelt of smoke, despite stating all rooms were non smoking
