The room was ok, they tried to update it but the front desk clerk asked if we had a dog and when we said no she responded with it is a pet friendly hotel to which I stated there had better not be any dog hair in the room just as there should not be any human hair in the room. She got a snarky look on her face and said we love our dogs here. YOu can love your dogs but I don't have to love the hair from other people's pets.

Overall, the stay was nice and the distance to downtown Cheyenne was great! The train could be a little loud sometimes and the building itself was a bit dated. There was a couple lunchables left in the fridge, the shower was super creaky, and the bedsheets had some pilling and hairs, but the service was great! Breakfast was also good

Average hotel for the price
This is an old property that has been maintained "ok". The front desk staff were friendly, but the line was frequently long. The check-in area was clean and organized but our room was not clean when we arrived. It smelled musty with faint smell of cigarette smoke. The floor was sticky (we bought a Swiffer to clean it ourselves) and had pieces of dog food from the last guest. The sheets were stained. There were wires and equipment hanging out of the wall under the TV. Housekeeping came one time during our 5-night stay with new towels. A/C did work which was nice. Breakfast was decent and did have a waffle maker. There was a good yard area to walk a dog that was mowed while we were there. The walls are thin, and we could hear our neighbors during the nighttime hours. The train is loud but didn't really bother us. The area made us a little nervous with an old, abandoned gas station (?) next door. Not on our list of hotels to go back to but for the price not sure we expected it to be more than it was.

We got in much, much later than anticipated. Shay at the front desk was a rock star. She not only had our paperwork and keys ready when we finally arrived, but she also gave us a late checkout so we could grab an extra hour's sleep. The facility was older and basically right off the highway without much else around it, but it was quiet and clean and rooms were updated nicely.

Room did what we needed. Mattresses and bedding were fine but not great. I’m picky about mattresses so I freely acknowledge I could be nit-picking. Friendly staff, clean place to sleep. Coffee was solid. Not much to complain about

Good and bad.
Ir was a fine stay. I thought noisy. The plumbing clunking pipes the worst. Upstairs people running across room till all hours. Freeway and freight train noise. The fan covered it some. No coffee in room. Only 1 endtable and light on 1 side of bed. Holes and stain on blackout curtains. Those are the negative comments. Reception was great. Lobby very nice. Our bathroom was great. TV large. Micro and fridge.
