Our room was very clean and comfortable with great AC and wifi. The bed was big and clean but the pillows were much too big. We could help ourselves to tea and coffee throughout the day and a nice breakfast was included. We liked being 10 minutes from the night bazaar and near the old town.
This is a very nice budget guesthouse Wararot Market and the garment district. However, it is located on a quiet side street. The staff is amazing, quite friendly and helpful. Breakfast is awesome. Quite a few options, all freshly prepared and served with fresh fruit. The only thing I can say negative about this guesthouse is the stairs. Thankfully, the nice young lady helped me with my bags, because i was on the top floor (5th, I think). If your knees moan and groan like mine, you may wish to choose a different place.
Hostel was nice, as there are many wooden furnishing. Location can be a bit hard to find for taxi driver, as it nestled within the back lane, but it is actually very near to the main road, taking a minute to reach it. Room is spacious enough with comfortable bed. Washing basin is a little bit small though. Unfortunately, my room is a 'windowless' room. There is a breakfast menu, with about 7 items to choose from, and prepared on the spot, and it was nice. The staffs are friendly and the receptionists can speak English for a proper conversation. Overall, the stay has been enjoyable, and would gladly choose Rustic Guesthouse if going to Chiang Mai again.
Lovely stay at Rustic Guesthouse, the lady on reception was so helpful and gave us maps and booked the elephant trio for us.
The rooms are big and spacious and it’s on a good location
Would 100% recommend
Our stay was simply fantastic! Booked to stay 2 nights and ended up staying 6! The staff are so helpful and speak great English! They helped us with onward travel and recommendations! Would deffo stay here again!
Breakfast was great each morning. The only downfall was the bathroom and shower. I am 5’4 and 120 pounds and could barely fit in the restroom/shower and close the door. It’s also hard for taxis to find, in a back alley way.
Staff was great, I would recommend walking to the street and taking a Tuk Tuk rather than depending on grab and taxis to find the place.

The area was great everything walking distance. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dislike the fact that the toilet did not flush well...
Perfect stay. Lovely & helpful reception ladies, delicous breakfast, localed inside warorot market with cheap food and souvenir, walkable distance to old city & sunday market. Room is clean and quite, beside have few mosquito and ant in room somtimes, and air-condition is not cool enough in rooftop room due to overheat by 40c sunshine, overall we have a wonderful stay. Absolutely will come back next time!

Fantastic
Clean, comfortable, great location - no complaints at all
My room was at the top of 68 stairs. It was a long haul for all my luggage and my gps could never, ever find the place so I was lost coming home every night. However, breakfast was great. The staff were professional and helpful. I enjoyed it for these reasons.
The room was good, convenient location . Neighborhood is not nice but it is safe. Good breakfast and staff very efficient with good English communication skills

OK but not great
Small guesthouse with lots of stairs so not great if you have luggage. It's also a bit noisy due to other guests using the stairs which could be heard from the room. Bathroom was very small and mattress hard. The first room we were given had no window so that was not pleasant but we were moved for the third night after twice requesting a room with a window.
We would stay here again when we go back to ChIang Mai. Its more of a bed and breakfast inn. Breakfast is provided but not earlier than 8am. Please take note no elevator in the inn and would require to climb steep stairs to get to your room. Room is spacious for 1 adult and 2 teenagers. Ac is cold. My only complaint is the bathroom which is outdated and cramp. Location is ideal and close to anywhere you want to go. Tuktuk are everywhere and easy to hail. Slippers are provided inside the bedroom but do not use it outdoors or you'll get charged for it. (need to have signs saying so). The night shift front desk receptionist is helpful and courteous. They have laundry service and massage service and both are outsourced.
