Average at best. Stayed there before, about eight years ago. It was much cleaner and kept up. My room had a loose exposed outlet. Beds & sheets were old. Ok for the money, but if you want quality and exceptional customer service, this isn’t for you. If you want a reasonably priced place to sleep, in a prime location, this is it.

Great hotel
Considering some of the negative reviews, this place was a very good choice! It's across from Grant Park and not far from the lake! The staff were very welcoming, polite and informative!..... tbh the only thing I didn't like was having to pay 54$ a night for parking and if you check-out before 6am, you have to walk to the hotel next door and they have to get your car for you because they don't offer 24 hour valet.... ooh and valet doesn't work after 11pm, I had family near midway I would have liked to stay out later with them, but didn't want to miss valet to park my car for the night.

Decent hotel, great location.
Check in was a breeze, was allowed to check in few hours before the scheduled time which was great. Room was decent and was perfect as we were there to tour Chicago and just spend the night and refresh in the room. Amazing location, walked to Roosevelt station and took metro to most places.

The service was great and the location great. The hotel is a little old but ok, though the rooms are not sound proof at all. You can hear the people next door through the window, the people, cars, sirens, honking outside.

We enjoyed our stay very m7ch. Staff was very good from the valet, front desk, and just everyone at the hotel. As with any big city, be prepared to pay a pretty penny for parking. This should not be a surprise. The valet parking was excellent and we could get our car any time we wanted it, though we did not and just walked wherever we needed to go.

Biggest issue was our room door did not shut on its own, you had to push forcefully for it to close. For being on Michigan, the size was okay, some may find it small. Elevator is very small & only accommodates 6 people with no luggage. Staff was friendly & lobby was nice.

No parking is A HUGE inconvenience!! Front desk acted like we were inconveniencing them… Then we had our room given away while we were still sleeping, 8 AM we had a family walk in our room. When we called the desk they said they had no record of us being there?!? No sorry no I apologize just well we’ll find them another room.?!?!

Advertised 2 queen beds. Beds were full size. Not queen. There's no breakfast. Only $10 coupon per day to use at the CHINESE restaurant 2 doors down. 1 microwave for the entire hotel. Rooms smelled like sewer. Had to keep bathroom door closed and stopper in tub. There was no water on our last day. Rooms look remodeled and spacious online but are tiny and dingy. Definitely not as advertised
