Such a beautiful hotel. Had a wonderful service throughout, the room was spacious, clean comfortable bed and nice bathroom. We even had a kitchenette and sofa area. Will definitely be at the top of our list next time we head to chicago

Adjust your expectations
This hotel has a convenient location. The staff is mostly pleasant. The cleaning staff was very friendly and accommodating. But from a value standpoint, I’d rate this a mediocre hotel. The rooms are very basic. The parking is difficult—very limited spaces available near the hotel so prepare to walk a half mile or so to park your car on a busy weekend. Breakfast is available for a limited time each day, but they ran out of breakfast items on the days I stayed there. For the money, I would say it barely met expectations, and apart from the cleaning staff, did not exceed them. If you go into it with minimal expectations, you’ll be fine.

Make sure to check in on time!!
We were promised a room with 2 queens and 1 sofa. We called to let them know we would be late and asked to a late check in. We were told that was absolutely fine and I gave an estimated time. When we arrived at the agreed upon time, we discovered (only AFTER walking into the room at 11 pm with 3 exhausted kids!) that there were not enough beds! They had given away our room and when I told them we had called they apparently had no record of that! We ended up having to sleep on floors!! So unsanitary!! They also did not have enough bedding or towels or pillows for us so I had to collect Everything from the main office. Nightmare.

Room accommodation and parking experience was horrible. I reserved a two queen bed with kitchen facing the city view room. When arrived, I was informed they did not have the room I selected. They only had one room which is a king bed option without city view available to accommodate my family of 4. I was also informed the parking garage is full and we would need to find parking elsewhere. Location was perfect. Many places to eat within walking distance. The L train is less than 10 min walking that will take you downtown.

They told me that the reservation was not paid for and I was not allowed to check in for 2 hours. I was told that Expedia had not cleared the funds for the reservation despite having a confirmation number. I was given the option to pay the difference and was then told that my card was declined. I contacted my credit card company and it was shown that the card had been charged a third time for the same stay. I wasn’t able to get into a room until 2am after arriving at 12am.
