Clean comfortable hotel near O'Hare Airport
Vet comfortable hotel which was reasonably priced at the time I booked compared to Hyatt or Hilton. Close to the Stephenson Convention Center.

Sonesta is a Scam
It was an okay stay, but because I went through Hotels.com, they charged me an extra $20 per night because I went through a third party. It doesn't even tell you that on the website, so I was scammed about $60. The room keys also decided to not work and had to get them switched out twice as soon as we checked in. They can't really help it, but the room also echoed extremely.

Room and hotel, in general, were clean and it’s convenient to the airport and rental car area. However, there aren’t many included amenities. There’s no breakfast option and any sort of extra is an added expense. Beyond that, the A/C in my room was horribly loud with an annoying rattle. Even though the thermostat was set to 68, the room wouldn’t get any cooler than 72. I had to set it at 65 to get to 69 and it ran almost constantly. The vent was also pointed directly at the bed, so I was either freezing or roasting through the night. I told the front desk at checkout and they didn’t seem to care all that much. If it weren’t for the amazing dinner at Harry Caray’s I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Basic hotel. Lobby seems cold and impersonable, gives the impression of a budget motel in a high ruse building. Very convenient for an overnight stay for an early morning flight though. If you are looking for amenities, this is not the place.

Way too expensive for an old run down hotel
Took forever to get checked in because it was understaffed. Unacceptable. Old hotel. Carpet looks dirty. Sink is outside of a very small bathroom with no fan. Tub has no anti-slip features at all. Everything you do has at least 3 taxes on it. Be prepared to pay almost 2x as much as the app quotes you. Staff and guests some of the rudest people I've ever encountered. Too bad I wasnt an illegal so I could have stayed for free!

Watch out for fees.
The room was fine, except for some white powder on the table and a bedside table. But I discovered after returning home that the hotel charged a $22.80 "destination" fee on top of the room fee to cover the supposedly free shuttle to the airport and the gym. I found that deceptive and unfair, and I would not stay there again.
