Decent place. Lobby is on second floor, not ground level. There was a wedding happening here when I was there. Microwave in lobby with vending machines (with ramen in them). There was a pool. Room was clean. I liked the art in the room. Check in fee at hotel...be aware if you book and pay online.

I understand the system was down which the staff knew it from the morning as I called in the morning. We could not check in until 5.30 pm for 4 pm check in, which seems odd to me given that the hotel and it's staff should acknowledge people come with plans with family. I could not meet with my family for sightseeing until 7 pm because of the check in delay. I had to stay back at the hotel for the check in.

The Add ons and “hidden fees” here are ridiculous. 866 for two nights CAD. This place is a lesson on don’t assume anything. Says parking available, sure is 188 CAD for 2 nights. Wifi is free but not high speed, that’s extra. On your expedia booking you are charged a 15 per night facility fee. But when you check in it’s 25 dollars. If you click to learn more about their 15 dollar fee you will uncover its 25 dollars. We reserved a King and we’re given a queen, although this was instantly rectified with a phone call. The bed was rock hard. Ask for a receipt for breakdown of charges as it was over my Expedia fee was sold systems down and leave an email. Never got an email. Clearly not about the money but the principle. The Chicago Athletic Club further south on Michigan Ave is well worth the money. This place is not. This place is a place I’d never stay at again. I’d give a bed bug hotel another shot before this place.

Trash in the room, floors not vacuumed, computer system was down FOR A WEEK so check in was long and painful, stains on the carpet. And those were the glaringly obvious things. What did we not notice?

My hotel room was broken into at 4 am and I was robbed. I reported it to the hotel front desk and the filed a police report. Hotel management has still not contacted me 48 hours later. In the words of the Chicago Police Department detective assigned to my case “ this is the worst hotel he has ever dealt with and the security is non existent.” Dont stay here

This was possibly the worst hotel stay I’ve ever experienced. For starters, we were given the keys to someone else’s room! Luckily the man was not in his room at the time we entered. However, this is extremely dangerous and should not have occurred!!!! We were then “upgraded” to a suite that smelled awful. Whatever the odor was, it seemed to be in the carpet. Not wanting to go BACK down to the desk for a second time, and being aware that the rooms were sold out for the weekend, my daughter & I decided to tough it out. We went out for the night (bought an air freshener) & upon returning our room keys didn’t work. This led me to believe someone may have been given access to our room just as we were earlier in the evening. The next morning someone was knocking on our door around 9 and I heard them proceed to open the door and try to enter. If I wouldn’t have had the extra lock on she would have come right into the room. It was housekeeping! Why was housekeeping knocking on the door and then attempting to enter our room at that hour?! The next morning around 10, the same thing, a knock and then an attempt to come in! It wasn’t close to check out time and we hadn’t asked for anything from the front desk. Unacceptable! When I stay at a hotel I expect to feel comfortable, safe & have privacy. I also expect the room to smell and feel clean! None of which occurred with this trip. I placed a call to management the first night and as of today, he still has not returned my call.

We had a 2 hour delay checking in which caused us to be late to our event. There is no parking garage for the hotel, but can park in a garage next to the hotel for an additional $60. They also do not offer any type of room service or breakfast. It would have been nice to know all of this ahead of time.

Not worth the money. Our room was tiny, it took over an hour for us to be allowed to check in and our request that the “resort fee” we were charged be waived in light of this was ignored. The elevators were incredibly slow. The refrigerator couldn’t hold more than a couple of cans of water or it wouldn’t close. The only “perk” was a single bottle of water we found, and no indication of whether or not it was complimentary. We had been under the impression that we could at least go up on the rooftop to see the view, but alas, unless you book it for an event that’s not allowed. It’s in a great location, but there are much better deals to be had in that area.

Their system was down and although the 50 people waiting in the lobby for a room were a little on edge, the staff was rude back to them. We waited an hour and a half and lost a night of going out. When we got to our room we got water and went to go get ice and the ice machine was broken. At around 10pm we asked for towels because we didn’t have enough, they came the next morning at about 9am. There was also trash and wrappers behind the desk in the room
