Friendly greeting from efficient receptionist
Room comfortable, particularly the bed. Excellent bathroom too, spacious and in good working order. A very pleasant overnight stay.

Review of Harbour Hotel
The bed was large and comfortable, as was the sofa bed. The room was spacious and well equipped, with various teas and coffees.
A very well-maintained boutique hotel in the city center near all the shops. Ample parking behind what was once a manor house. Room was smallish but had a king bed. Very good bathroom. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
Have stayed at larger Harbours Hotels in the past. This appears to be a grade listed building. Staff were amazing no issues. The hotel has some logistical issues. Room booked was smaller than expected but had need for a second room during our stay which was much bitter. As a whole, very enjoyable stay will stay again. Now the issues. There light bulbs at the side tables had never been cleaned. It's not a pretty sight when you book in and put your night water under it. Some signage like gents on ground floor missing or in a non logical place. Reception layout could be easily improved at no extra cost. Bar is open' but not open ' during quiet periods as no staff when you expect it. You must ask at the reception (who maybe busy) but you don't know you need to do this. It's not the same thing as sitting around the bar, besides, other than festive groups the bar was often empty and looked closed. Not having staff on does not help. it's easier to go elsewhere. Rear car park side entrance could be more welcoming!
The staff were amazing, the hotel was fab especially the spa. However, we were not informed that there was a wedding on and the wedding party totally took over our stay.
This is a first-class hotel with beautifully-appointed rooms. Lots of attention to detail for the guest (complimentary drink in room on arrival, 24 hour room service, lovely restaurant and bar). Historic setting on high street, within easy walking distance of all attractions and train station. Very attentive staff. Highly recommended.
This was a very good choice for central Chichester: an easy walk from the station and out to Pallant House Gallery and to the jazz club venue- and indeed also to the independent cinema and the theatre.
A good value stay at a busy time of year. Bathroom was spacious and modern and we appreciated the bath / shower combination
I booked this spa hotel as it is perfectly located. As it was my partners 60th birthday I had arranged lots of lovely treats. Sadly he went down with Covid and the hotel wouldn’t change the booking so I went alone as I didn’t want to lose the money. Everything was good, staff excellent, however the hydrotherapy pool was closed for repair and the steam was closed for maintenance!! Overall the weekend was quite disappointing. Staying at a spa hotel with no working facilities is like watching a Christmas light switch on with no lights !!
Nice hotel and staff but too expensive for what it is.
Parking is a pain ! Its difficult to get a space in the hotel car park and required several visits to check if there was one free. The street parking is for an hour only and costs £1.90 an hour although it is free between 5:30 pm and 9:00 am. The other option is to park in the public car park and pay around £10 for 12 hours. If your fortunate enough to get a space then the hotel has the cheek to charge £10 a day for parking and this is after youve paid £160 a night for the room. Breakfast isnt included in this price either.
Our room looked out onto a restaurant and a fairly busy road.
Ive stayed in hotels which are cheaper, quieter, with pools, jacuzzis, steam rooms, acres of gardens and plenty of free parking. I wont be revisiting this hotel again in tue future.
The one plus is its in a good loction for visiting Chichester town itself.
The hotel was conveniently located for the town centre. Excellent shops, bars & restaurants.
The hotel is over four levels & unfortunately the lift was broken during our visit. Being on the top floor this was quite a challenge especially with luggage. Having said that it didn't ruin our stay. The staff were lovely & we would thoroughly recommend a visit.
