We booked an executive room with king bed and sofa bed.
It was 15$ more than the two double beds room.
The person at the fromt desk said nothing. We arrived in the room and there was only one bed (we were with our 12 yrs daughter). We had to go back to the front desk and showed the paper with the reservation. The employee told us that there were no executive rooms available. He asked us to wait (i.e. 25 minutes) so another employee (concierge?) can show us another room. It was a room with 2 double beds (not queen beds). He told us that it was all they had. Our short holiday were unpleasant. We are used to sleep in a king bed at home… a full bed is only 54 inches wide. My husband told me that we shouldn’t book with Expedia when it comes to hotel chains. He told me after that he has a Hilton card and that I should have booked directly on their website. I hope that Expedia will reimburse the 15$/day that I paid for the executive room. I also want to know if it is true that the booking description (type of room) is not warranty when you book on Expedia.
