The room was nice and clean. I liked the tile floor throughout, AC worked well, and the beds were comfortable. The lobby was outdated, homey, and the carpet throughout the hallways was bubbled which almost caused me to fall from tripping on them (1st, 4th and stairway closest to pool flooring, didn’t see the other 2 floors or stairwell). The stairwell I went down was also dingy and had dead bugs on the carpet. The pool was warm but the hot tub was the same temperature, and there was no way to turn on the jets. Also, broken tiles lined the pool area. The staff were nice but one of the staff members allowed her children to run in and out of the roped off kitchen area unattended (not dining area) which seemed like a safety concern (this was during the hours the kitchen was closed). The breakfast staff attendant was overwhelming and hovering over me as I was making a waffle. I know she was trying to be helpful but didn’t appreciate her getting my bagel out of the toaster with ungloved fingers. I stepped away for a second to set other stuff down and there wasn’t a line for the toaster. I was a bit annoyed by this. Especially, not knowing if she had washed her hands after wiping down tables. There was a decent array of choices for breakfast though. Overall, it was okay and for the price it was fair.
