The receptionist was helpful at all times, directing me to my room, hailing a taxi on two occasions. But when I asked for an invoice. I was told I had to get that myself! Not happy about that. I also see now that there was a tax refund if I was travelling on business. This is correct, but no tax refund was offered by the hotel. The room was not serviced once during my 3-day stay. I ran out of tea-bags, and found the tea / coffee station near reception to be out of both varieties of black tea. I was only provided with bush tea in my room on my first day. I drink tea mostly. Bush tea is a poor substitute for black tea. No mat beside the bed, only one in the sitting room. I dragged that one to my bedside. I was asked for a late check out as I had a late flight and was allowed to stay till 13H00. Not happy about that. Nevertheless, the 2 hours extra was appreciated. Several times the house-keeping entered my room without knocking. No food was offered at the hotel. There was a fridge and stove in the room, but no cutlery, plates or cleaning materials. Overall, it was a disappointing experience and for the price, very disappointing.
