The only problem with the hotel was the coffee, everyone I know who tried it (a half dozen guys or so) agreed it was bad.
Other the coffee the place is great.
Hospitality was great. Everyone I met was very nice and friendly. It is a beautiful hotel but I am disapointed with the cleanliness. In my suite the couch was covered in stains, the floors looked dirty, the kitchen utensils and cups look like they were used and never placed in the washer. The coffee machine was dirty and the room has a moldy musty smell. I used to be a General Manager for a large hotel, and I understand running a hotel is not easy. For what I paid each night, I was disappointed in Hilton.
Room wasn't ready at 3. Staff didn't greet us and wasn't pleasant at check in on Saturday February 24th. Other times we came inside they were on their phones. Customer service is lacking. The hotel itself is very nice and has great amenities. Good location. Suite was spacious.
The hotel was under construction, when we first arrived our door was open and we couldn’t get the door to lock. They didn’t want to get us another room since “this one was clean for us”. They did get the lock to work. The hotel was so loud from 9:00 on. Super loud and no one could sleep. We even called to tell them and nothing was done.
The room was very nice, very clean, looked great. Unfortunately the bed and the pillows were some of the most uncomfortable things I’ve ever slept on. The blankets may have “fit” the bed, but they were way too small, especially for a couple. Adding to the situation the AC was just not cutting it for the room. I must’ve woken up 3-4 times during the night for all the aforementioned reasons. I’ve honestly slept better in hotels that cost half as much.
The rooms were spacious and clean. The facility seemed new and was very clean and updated. It was in a safe neighborhood and I would feel comfortable staying there alone. The only problem I had was getting an Uber or Lyft to Ohio Stadium for a concert. There were Ubers showig available, but they kept declining the request. The staff told us they sometimes do that because they dont wan to come that far.
I would never stay at this hotel chain ever again the management was racist and they charged my car for smoking and I never smoked in the room. I checked out this hotel three days early because I was traveling and then I look up a week later and I have a charge on my account and I just outright lied and said I was smoking in the room there’s no way I could’ve been smoking in a room or they would’ve put me out of the hotel which they never did.
