Absolutely loved Daydream Island. Even though its an island, there was plenty to do. And was great to lounge buy the pool all day. Food was amazing aswell. Trivia with Molly was great and the Trivia and the kids :)

Had a great family holiday with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Rooms were great and very quiet with comfy beds. Great selection at buffet breakfast and so nice to sit by the aquarium. Kayaking, snorkeling, nature trails and lots of day tours as well as relaxing by the pool. Only fault is the menu for lunch and dinner. It didn’t change, even the specials, and we got bored of the food quite quickly. We also were stung with the fish we caught ourselves - $35/ea to cook it and only 2 of our 4 ate it. Would have been good for reception to tell us this beforehand. We were also told we would get sides for that but were charged for everything and when I questioned it the next morning, our bill couldn’t be found.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Daydream Island Resort. Staff were super friendly and always happy to assist. The range of on island activities was great and gave us something new to try each day. The staff at the tour desk gave us excellent advice as to which off island activities would be suitable for our family of four - and they were spot on with Ocean Rafting day trip to Whitehaven Beach, Hill Inlet and snorkelling our absolute highlight! Our only feedback would be that it would be wonderful to see another dining (restaurant/cafe) option especially offering something light for lunch/dinner - sandwiches/wraps etc. By the end of our 7th night we had exhausted just about everything on the menu from both restaurants (Infinity and Salti) and would have loved a different option. That being our only negative, we thought the Living Reef staff and their ongoing efforts to re-establish the coral and marine life in the area (after cyclone Debbie destroyed so much) are absolutely fantastic and something to be very proud of! One of the many reasons we will definitely be back in the future!

Daydream very family friendly holiday resort with great pools, restaurants, friendly staff, lots tours available and great underwater fish viewing This was a great 5 day break with plenty options to visit reef, fishing, helicopter tours and best was ocean sunset cruise Thanks again to all staff in helping making this memorable stay.
