Ken & Pat were great hosts & made us feel very welcome & even phoned the local pub & booked a table for our evening meal. Good breakfast in the morning. Downside was sharing a bathroom, but that was reflected in the price.
a wonderful place to stay. hosts are super friendly and professional. breakfast is the most important meal of the day and theirs is the best. most highly recommended
My wife and I were so well looked after, it was almost as if we were staying with a family member whom we had not seen for some time. Nothing was too much for our host, who even went out to buy extra food during our stay, since I am coeliac. She also offered to drive us to a restaurant and pick us up so that we would not have to walk in the rain.
Welcoming without being too fussy or intrusive. Excellent breakfast, quality produce, perfectly cooked.
Not sterile like some Hotels, but also did not feel too much like staying in someone's home which can be off-putting. Happy to recommend!
Lovely little B&B. Room was very clean, plenty of clean towels. The hosts were very friendly and happy to give ideas on places to eat and things to do in the area. Breakfast was very nice. I was sharing a bathroom with another room which I was a little bit wary of but it didn't end up being a problem at all as the bathroom was only a couple of feet from my room. The bathroom was also very clean. Very happy with this stay.
This was a lovely B&B which was comfy, clean and peaceful. The room had everything we needed in it and was very clean. Breakfasts were immense in size and very tasty. The couple who ran it were really friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Really enjoyed our stay. Thanks
Helen

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Useful location as a base to explore Cornwall
Location of the B&B is ideal for someone intend to explore Cornwall by car. Views not great, surrounded by houses. Cost reasonable for the period but place was vacant. We were the only guests during that week. Staff polite but not very flexible as one would expect from this type of establishment. Facilities clean and adequate but lack warmth or an invitation to revisit. Compelled to have breakfast at a pre-determined time between 8-9am.
The picture of the hotel seems dated and it is a regular dated house on a busy road. We found it too expensive. Friendly host. Noisy room when other people use water or walk through the house. Breakfast was between 8 and 9 and no flexibility thereafter.
I booked this lovely B+B at very short notice and were lucky enough to get the group of rooms suitable for a family. One double bedded room, one twin bedded room and an ensuite bathroom.
The hosts are very helpful and welcoming, even booking a dinner for us on a busy Easter Saturday evening. Thank you very much Pat!
Family suite lay out is a bit quirky due to the age of the house. The bathroom is accessed through the twin room, so grownups have to go through the kiddies room to the loo during the night, better than sharing a room with young ones or bathrooms with strangers. There is a television in the twin room but not the double. These comments are for info and not criticisms
The very full English breakfast was great. This breakfast and the great night’s sleep really set us up for our archery competition. I would recommend this B+B and hope to return again.
Das Positive: Nette Besitzer, Frühstück grundsätzlich ok. Betten gut!
Das Negative Großer Schrank ohne Fächer, Frühstückskaffee indiskutabel, aber es gibt (Beutel-)Tee. Der war ok. Bzw.
