CLEANING
-CLEAN BED PROMISE: Padre Escapes launders our standardized linen, including every comforter, every sheet, every pillowcase, every towel - EVERY TIME!
-After each stay we replace all towels and linens from our 6100SF laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels and washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property, along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These starter amenities are provided for your convenience until you can go shopping and are not replenished during your stay: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your arrival.

Old but clean

The condo was very “old”, like probably most things are original. That wasn’t a surprise to me because it looked like that in the pics and I was ok with it. It was cleaned very well but it was hard to see past all the rusted fixtures, vents and hinges. The dryer didn’t work, just produced a burning smell. The living room furniture is very old and broken down and desperately needs to be replaced. The condo addition itself needs some exterior work like a good paint job but the pool was fabulous. I would stay at this condo addition again but not this unit, unless they replace the living room furniture and the kitchen faucet, which was difficult to move from one sink to the other. The beds are rather squeaky but comfortable. The unit is a little musty and could benefit from a good dehumidifier.

Summer stay

The property was very clean, open, and accommodating! The only thing to be aware of is pull out sofa bed is not comfortable you can feel every spring in bed. The bedroom beds are very comfortable! Great stay and communication with management highly recommended!

Place is great location but a few things wrong

First of all the main door does not lock on the inside, definitively not good w a toddler. He could easily open the door and be down the stairs in seconds, so we had to be really careful w him. Second my questions were not answered when I texted about things like pool key etc. also the railings on back patio loose, and master bathroom not very clean

Would definitely stay here again!

Suited our family of 6 well. Check-in and check out was a breeze. Nice location, about a 7 min. walk to the beach. Kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans for use. Having a washer/dryer was a great addition. The shower faucets had a bit of learning curve to adjust temperature, and the recliner was a bit clunky, but overall a fabulous stay. Would definitely stay again.

Great location for Beach

The location is great for beach access. Walking distance to beach. The cleaning crew needs to look under beds, chairs and living room rug. There were last renters clothes under the master bedroom bed. The living room floor was dirty with crayons under the sofa chair and a lot of sand under the living room rug. A bit more attention to detail in cleaning would improve the appearance and renters not be as fearful of COVID. The pillow with the blood on it was still in the master bedroom closet that another review had mentioned.

Everything was nice and orderly. Our check in and out was very easy (click a link on email or text to let owners know you’re there or leaving. They then text/email you details like WiFi password, Code for entry etc. very efficient and would go back again.

I was very pleased overall. There were a couple things that I would say need some improvement like the bed in the second room was way too squeaky and the shower curtains probably need changing more often as they were mildewed on the bottom. But the property was close to the beach and quiet and peaceful the WiFi was great and the view outside was nice. They also were great with communicating and texting us on time. And I love the closeness to Port Aransas but without all the traffic, my family and kids had a great time there and I would definitely stay again!

Last minute trip

Took a last minute trip. Would have probably stayed elsewhere, but there was not much available at the same price point at the time. Facilities are decent, condo could have been a little cleaner. The heavy mildew on the refrigerator was frustrating and the blood stained pillow in the closet was creepy. Master bed was comfortable but the bed in the other room was not.
