CLEANING
-CLEAN BED PROMISE: Padre Escapes launders our standardized linen, including every comforter, every sheet, every pillowcase, every towel - EVERY TIME!
-After each stay we replace all towels and linens from our 6100SF laundry facility where they are washed in temps of at least 60sC/140sF, exceeding CDC recommendations.
-Every property is stocked with bath towels and washcloths for the maximum occupancy of the property, along with one hand towel per bathroom.
-These starter amenities are provided for your convenience until you can go shopping and are not replenished during your stay: hand/bath soap, toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, trash bags, and a sponge.
-We inspect every property to make sure it is up to standard and ready for your arrival.

-A two-night minimum stay is required.
-A signed Rental Agreement is required prior to check in. Contracting guests of Padre Escapes must be 25 years of age or older and have a valid State Driver’s License or other acceptable ID. The ID must match the guest’s name on the reservation.

The location is wonderful very close to the beach, but the actual property needs updating. Examples pool area: three of the four lights on the tables do not work, actual pool gunite is old and stained needs resurfacing, water chairs are very old and badly stained. Condo: you can tell the place had been cleaned, but still had an old worn out feel to it. Lot of the baseboards are needing replaced, cabinet doors do not shut. Stove door almost falls off. Dishwasher is on its last leg. Mattresses were good shape, but bedding seems cheap - far from luxury. Place is very crammed and crowded also, Again everything in the place just seems worn out and needing updated. Disappointing.

Clean Property, but Untrustworthy Employees
As I selected on the categories, the condo/townhome was clean however we had a poor experience on 2 fronts. 1) A family member in our party had gifts sent via Amazon to the townhome-we got an Amazon notification that the box had been delivered with a photo of the box on the front porch steps of the condo. We let the property manager know and they let us know throughout the day that they never found the box but that they came by at least 3 times to check (we did send them the photo). The neighbor had a Ring doorbell pointing toward our door and sent us the footage where you can see Amazon leave the package ~10am, about 15 minutes later an SUV pulls up (unfortunately blocking the door view), the SUV stays at the home for 30 minutes (cannot see on the other side of the SUV), then they leave-and the package is no longer on the front porch. Our condo inspection notice shows they inspector came to the condo on that same day.We watched all video footage from the day from package drop off by Amazon until our family arrived and that SUV was THE ONLY CAR that came through the parking lot that day. We sent the video to the mgmt company who said they couldn't help (fair enough-however we also know they lied about coming by 3 times to check on the package). Also, a couple rang our doorbell that night looking for a bag of items they left on a previous stay that the mgmt company 'never found'-we also didn't find them. So it seems items are going missing routinely from this location.

Great time had by all
This property is excellent for large families. There is plenty of room for adults and kids. There is plenty of silverware and dishes. Pots and pans are fine, but serving dishes were scarce. The 5 minute walk to the beach was manageable with the children in tow. Very clean when we arrived and comfortable for everyone. If we are in Corpus Christi again, we will stay there.

BEST PLACE TO STAY
This is a great place for a family vacation it’s clean comfortable and everything worked the kitchen has plenty of supplies for meals the swimming pool was great with bbq pits inside the pool area the house was also supplied with everything u would need to spend the day at the beach across the street the beach was perfect with soft sand and waves for the kids to play in I highly recommend planning a vacation and staying here

Absolutely loved this place
We were a group of 12 with 6 kids. It is a perfect vacation stay, close to north padre national seashore, walkable from other beaches. Except washer and dryer everything else was clean and tidy. Overall we loved the stay.

First stay at Padre Island
The property was great. Overpriced but great as far as accommodating our family with sleeping etc Location was not on the beach. There was quite a hike to the beach. Also the beaches were not well maintained. Dirty diaper etc. and same goes for the general area. Went for a walk and there was trash everywhere. The pool was full of sand and very very warm. Felt more like a hot tub. Not refreshing. Parking was challenging. Condo accommodates 12 but only two parking spaces. I feel that almost 3 grand for a week in texas was way over priced. A dog crapped right in front of us on the beach!!!! There was no one that patrolled the area and no maintenance of any kind. Would I book again? No. I will travel to Florida where the beaches are clean and well maintained. I felt the condo was nice, the management was nice but it was too far to the beach and overpriced.

It is amazing how two units in the same complex both reserved through VRBO can be so different. condo was not particularly clean nor were all the linens that should have been provided there. Talked with property manager and got the linens and did the rest of the clean up ourselves. Loved that there was a crockpot.

It wasn’t what we expected. You can hear everything that goes on upstairs if you are downstairs.
It was ok. There is no place for your pets to go potty except for on the rocks or on a field with stickers. Not very good for pets. Missing stuff in the condo. They said they would bring a toaster, never saw it. No bbq pits, only by the pool and it’s whoever gets there first gets them and 2 are broken. Need to bring your on grill. Pots and pans are needing replaced.

Too high for amenities.
Pool very small. Close to ocean, but not on ocean. In a massive condo / apartment setup. No salt or pepper. Money would have been better spent getting a hotel. Common area too small for 11 people. Beds comfortable enough and clean. Value for the money just not worth the extra. By the time you pay for cleaning and VRBO fee, it’s overpriced. If you removed those two charges it would have been a reasonable / fair charge. If it was on the beach it would have been worth it. Limiting TP and other amenities that would be in a normal house makes it a pain and adds to the hassle factor. Downstairs bedroom had a ceiling fan with no remote so only had low speed, had to go buy fan. Wouldn’t go back to their again due to price. Not a bad place, just not worth the extra charges. Pool is only 4 ft, and shred with the complex. Pictures are taken to convey much bigger space than actual. Bedrooms were big enough.

Perfect for a family trip
We drove down from Dallas to spend a week at the beach. The location was perfect. It was nice to have the 3 bedrooms upstairs with the shared landing space so we could all get ready for the day and bedtime in one area. Pro tip - we didn’t know until we arrived that you can drive cars down on the beach (entrance is a block away). It was so easy to get all our beach stuff down to the beach and then be able to quickly walk back across the street to the house if we needed anything during the day.

Good experience, easy check-in (2 hrs early👍) Facility as advertised, nicely outfitted and clean. Lacks a toaster so bring one. Was raining heavily and a circuit of lights kept kicking off - even after resetting. Would definitely stay again - very well outfitted

Great vacation spot
Loved this unit. It was great for my 3 kids and their spouses and kids. We had a great time. It was a little cool but the heated pool was perfect. Easy walking to the beach. I'd rent this spot again in the future. Suggestions for the complex would be: new pool lounge chairs, fix the splash pad- the drain didn't work so we weren't able to use it., the outdoor shower by pool didn't work so we had to use the hose to wash the sand off. Also, the controls for that shower are too high to reach. All in all a great vacation spot.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
This property was perfect for our group. There were 9 of us. 7 adults ages 45-22 and 2 children ages 14 and 5. There was plenty of room and the house was very nice. There are some scrapes on the walls, but very minor. It’s decorated so cute you fall in love instantly. The pool was close and never too crowded. We rented carts for the beach, but you can walk. We had absolutely no problems at all with our stay. My only complaint is I wish we stayed longer.
