Nice little spot. House was clean, decorated nicely, and had everything you'd need and more. Kid-friendly, they loved all the games and toys. We were happy to find a few items in the fridge leftover from previous guests and the spice cabinet was fully stocked. The downstairs patio area was so nice, however we did not spend much time down there due to the mosquitos. They were very heavy during our stay; I'm sure the standing water nearby makes them difficult to control. The host communicated well and offered suggestions when asked. Very understanding as well. Would certainly stay here again!

Excellent Stay
This is a very well-appointed, cutely decorated spot for a family vacation. The host has thought of everything and takes extra steps to make it enjoyable for all. Pros: spacious living room, kitchen, upper deck and master bedroom. Amazing downstairs area with games, grills, seating, tv. Fridge is cold, makes good ice, host has put up plenty of hooks for towels, clothes, etc. Extra beach towels and beach canopies available for use. Pool area is very nice. The only thing worth noting for families with younger children...the second bedroom is underneath the main house area, with two separate entries leading to the outside. This may not be ideal for parents wanting to be close to the kids at night. But would certainly be ideal for a second couple wanting privacy. We just kept the kids upstairs on the pull out sDownstairs bedroom could use some sweeping of spiders, etc.

Beach Lovers Paradise
We use VRBO frequently and travel all over Texas for weekend getaways. March had been a tough month for our family and businesses, so we decided to call our best friends of 40 years and said let’s go fishing. I did my VRBO scroll and landed on this gem. We have rented many homes in Rockport but this was by far the best. The home caters to all !!! Extremely family oriented and the personal touches create an environment of pure joy. Anything and everything you might want or need the Padilla’s have thought of. The property is clean, well stocked and very private. Our favorite was the outdoor dining area. We Mayes our classic rock and roll , grilled and just hung out. It was just what the doctor ordered. We would not hesitate to return. Posted on FB our weekend delight and several friends have asked for property ID number which I gladly shared. If you need a break from the day to day Padilla’s retreat is the place to stay💕💕💕

Manager made my family and I feel very welcome. She always responded quickly when I needed something. Great location. Close to the beach. Loved that the house was beach themed. Very cute and comfortable house. Will stay here again next time we come for vacation. Highly recommend staying here.

A great family getaway spot, no matter who comes.
This cottage by the sea is perfectly appointed. A sweet little get away spot close to so many diversions. A great spot for small families with littles and teenagers alike. Pet friendly. It was an overall great family get away. Everyone was happy. Thank you!

Please note there is an issue with on-line pricing. The charged amount did not match the pricing on the website. Evolve was quick to take care of the discrepancy. Also note that the description of the property should state that the second bedroom is downstairs and separate from the main house. Not an issue for us but may be for someone with children.
