It was not a great place to stay with Teen girls, people were smoking stuff outside the rooms and were very scary. Guys were saying horrible degrading things to us. We did not feel safe and made our vacation very uncomfortable.

I liked the dog park, but there were way too many stickers on the ground. The interior of our room was pretty gross. It was "clean" but the walls and bathtub were rusty. The tile floor makes sense for a tropical destination, however that, along with the extremely cool-toned lighting choices, the room made me feel sick. It wasn't cozy at all. Also, the breakfast was a less than expected. Waffles, cereal, toast, muffins, pastries, bagels, potatoes...basically ALL carbs and sugar, with the exception of the powdered egg mixture, which only God knows what's in that. Not our best experience.

Overall pleasant experience, the staff was very nice. Breakfast was decent. Easy access. Only complaint would be the walls are kinda thin or our neighbors were very loud in the room next door and on the balcony/porch.

All in all not bad...
The place was clean and quiet. Only issues: 1. The hot tub outside could have been hotter. 2. Water pressure was very low. Took about a half hour to fill the bathtub. 3. The bed was uncomfortable. The box spring under the mattress was not there. The bed had an old fashioned spring and wire frame under the mattress.

The room was dirty. A musty smell hit you right as you walk in. The sheets/blankets smelled freshly laundered, but everything else didn’t seem like it had been cleaned. The bathroom REAKED of sweat. Turns out it was the shower curtain. I supposed they never get washed or changed out. The toilet also had a black ring around it. The couch and chairs had stains on them as well. The front desk staff was very friendly however, and we appreciated that it was a pet friendly hotel, with a dog run for potty breaks. The Pool area was nicely kept, and breakfast was a nice treat with plenty of choices.

Very nice place. The pool was clean and in service. So many places neglect their pools and just close them down rather than clean them up and offer them to guests. Bed wasn't the very best but it was good enough. Breakfast was good for a budget stay. The manager on duty was very friendly. We would have stayed all weekend but the price more than doubled for Fri. and Sat. nights so we went to another budget motel.

Musty room almost intolerable
This was my worst hotel experience to date as there was clearly no effort made to improve the experience beyond the amenities listed in the booking description. The room was cringe-worthy in several ways, starting with the very strong musty smell that hits you as soon as you walk in. We were in a ground floor room facing south but no amount of propping the door open , letting the A/C run on high or turning on the bathroom vent would dispel the constant high humidity in the room (the outside air was comfortable by comparison). Any exposed metal in the room was rusty and flaking (lamp shade frames and lamp bases) so clearly this was not a recent issue. The pictures on the internet look promising but in reality the room was dark, the LED lights glaring and cold, and the walls and floors damaged in several areas. The bathroom had seen a recent facelift but no one bothered to clean behind the door. On the upside, I did not observe any pests, the beds were comfortable, and the pool and hot tub were nice. 2 star hotel withstanding, there is clearly no effort made beyond the minimum.
