Relaxing

We had a wonderful time in this excellent property! Everything was as described and we enjoyed a very peaceful stay. The house is cozy and my son and I had a great night of fishing right from the dock! The property owner was communicative and helpful. He was willing to and ready to offer suggestions for things to do in the area.

The property was in a good location, we got to let the kids fish off the back area. The property just felt dated and in need of a refresh for the price. All in it felt average, I think I would look for a newer property next time for the cost.

The home was wonderful. We had a relaxing home to come to after fishing trips all weekend. We didn't catch anything but we were there more to enjoy each other's company than fish! This home was perfect for us and had plenty of confortable rest! Great AIR CONDITIONER!

Had a great time. Home was very clean. Only a couple of things would have made it better, a third bathroom and a bigger living area. Since one of the bathrooms was in the master, 6 people were using the other.

The house was perfect, in a great location! The kitchen had everything we needed! HEB and Walmart were close for grocery shopping! I would definitely recommend this house to my friends and family! I’m already looking at booking for next year 😎

I wanted to give the accuracy of online listing score a 1, only because the place was WAY BETTER than the listing showed. We loved the place and with the water access our fishing guide picked us up right at on the dock and was able to clean our catch right there!!!! WE LOVED IT AND WILL BE RETURNING!!!

FABULOUS!!

This was a great property. The dock and fish cleaning tables were great and plenty of room to tie the boat up. The house was very spacious and quiet and overall very clean and comfortable! We will be staying here every chance we get.

When I booked it, I thought there would be four adults but one could not travel with us. For three adults for two nights, we paid far too much but the cancel deadline was nearly two weeks before check-in so it was too late to cancel when I learned the fourth person could not travel with us. It would have been nice to have a more reasonable cancel deadline. The cleaning fee would have been the same for more people for more nights. The property itself was clean and would have worked well for a large group except that the living area was not that comfortable for three adults. One couch and one chair! How would a larger group have convened in the living area? However,, the kitchen was a good place to convene. Nice appliances and furniture. The location was okay but not walking distance to the dock area. My fault for not checking distances. Would I recommend the property to other groups? I would say it depends on how many are in the group and what your plans are when you get to Rock Port.

Family memories made here

I and my family have stayed at this property a few times for holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas to be near our extended family in South Texas. We appreciate being able to take our dog, Ellie, who is very much part of the family. The property owner is great and responds to messages promptly. The house is always clean and welcoming. The large dining area is where everyone ends up hanging out and we have many memories there by now. We recommend it!

A little piece of Heaven!!!

From start to finish this was the best vacation rental experience I have had!!! Words can't describe how beautiful and relaxing this home is. They have thought and stocked every thing you could possibly need. Quick, easy, and accommodating communication was the icing on the cake!!! Great canal house

Good Choice

We had an incredible mini vacation at this beautiful canal front home. It is a comfortable and clean home with plenty of space for the kids to play. It’s located at a nice area for fishing and it’s only a short drive to Rockport beach. I would say it is well equipped for long or short stays. We loved this house and would definitely love to stay here again.
