Very good

Very rustic, no TV, beds seemed old not very comfortable. Beautiful views. Very strict on their 4:00 check-in. Group of people waiting in lobby and at 10:00 to 4:00 she finally started to let people in to their rooms. Would not stay there again
Cold water tap broken. Poor, broken shower containers. Door let in wind. After calling the first morning and letting someone know, nothing was done to fix the problems. Expensive, understandable, but no one cared to do anything about it while we were there. Good dinner.

Liked: Cleanliness
Towels felt like sand paper. Pillows like slips of paper. No hand lotion in dispenser.
This was our first time staying in a National Park facility and it was disappointing. We expected it to be dated but it needs a total upgrade. There is no cell service and the phone in our room didn't work, which the staff was aware of. Wifi only in the registration office and that was spotty. One working ice machine on the property. Cobwebs in the bathroom. A/C finicky. Bed was comfortable and view amazing.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Stayed here a few years ago and the wear shows. Restaurant is nothing special food wise. It is an Aramark run property, so mediocre.
The property is unique in a very simple way: thaïs the ONLY hotel property inside the Mesa Verde Park and close to all major attractions like Cliff Palace etc
So if you don’t want to drive at least 45 minutes from the nearest town to the park - YOU don’t have a choice. So it’s some kind of «monopoly ».
But I need to say, it’s absolutely normal motel, nothing too fancy, but nice and clean. I really recommend it to all visitors to Mesa Verde
The view and location is great. The accommodations are small. And the dinner service was poor. The server literally tossed the plate in front of my husband and the piece of salmon slid off the plate. We had to ask him to replace the salmon and take the piece on the table away. He didn’t make any effort to clean the place where the salmon had slid to the table. The soup I ordered clearly was carried hastily. It slopped on the edges of the bowl. Further the soup was not that good. I rarely give a poor review but the young man clearly had not been trained properly.

Liked: Staff & service
The shower door in our room did not close properly. And the toilet wasn’t clean when we first entered into the room.
This is a beautiful property. The basic rooms are very small and do not have televisions. I was not able to get any hot water and other guests said the same.
