The staff was great! The rooms were great and the pool was awesome! The hot tub wasn’t running when we went but the part was coming in the day we left so it should be working now! It’s a great place to stay!

We had a very welcoming check-in. The guy at the front desk was very professional!! We had guests down our hall that were very loud but no fault of the hotel. The only complaint that we have is that the carpet were very stained in the room and throughout the hotel. Everything else was wonderful

My night stay was decent overall. The receptionist the next morning after my check out had an unpleasant attitude and was rude when i had waited awhile for her because she wasn't in the front desk. The breakfast attended had to look for Bethany since i was waiting for awhile. That whole experience with the front receptionists that morning just ruined my entire stay

When I checked in , I asked about the laundry facility which was listed as an amenity. I was informed that it was out of service. I specifically booked this location as I have been on the road for six days and needed desperately to wash my clothes. I informed the check-in clerk a person by the name of Carlos that I was very disappointed. His response to me was that he was really not sympathetic to my concern and that he was going to go ahead and cancel my booked reservation because he didn't like my attitude. Even went so far as to call the local police and have me escorted off the property. Nothing, I said to him warranted that action on his part. To say that my experience at this location was a complete toxic experience would be an understatement. Anybody considering staying at this property should think twice and choose somewhere else. The unmitigated gall of this individual Carlos is incomprehensible. Management should consider having this individual drug tested as his behavior seemed extremely paranoid and irrational, perhaps there is some underlying clause for his interaction with me. Avoid this property, Durango is not far away and has better options

Both front desk staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Our room was very clean and in good condition. We did notice the gym area had a smell of mold or mildew. Breakfast options were limited. We would have liked more healthy options for yogurt and bread. I am not sure why every individual piece of cutlery was wrapped in plastic. I would recommend this property for anyone coming to Cortez. We used it as a base to tour Mesa Verde.
